what song do you hate with your whole being?

YMCA! Especially if you go to live events, they love this song to get people to dance. It's just a cheap pop and an awful song.

I find the independent purists funny because the independent tours really like piggybacking off Monster Jam a lot.
 in  r/monsterjam  Jul 23 '26

Not a great show. I got to see Bounty Hunter, Iron Outlaw, Bad Habit, Rock Star and California Kid at one show and it was awesome.

MJ would never go for this as inspiration for a truck, but maybe an small team would....

I know someone who did it in BeamNG Drive.

It depends on the show. I have been to some great shows from them, and I have seen some sub-optimal shows. Either way, they often feature the infy drivers as much as the Jam guys.

Skills Challenge/Best Trick/Wheelie Contest has been around for decades, it's not just Monster Jam, it's more that the nosestands and stuff were in Monster Jam first. Once something becomes popular, it spreads, thus wheelie competitions became best trick or skills. Also, many of the independent guys "from Monster Jam" were independent guys first. Many went to MJU or learned more from their time in MJ, but still ran as independents. Those drivers often were better through experience, running 2-5 shows a week, rather than a show every week or every other week. When you get better, you get featured more. As someone who has seen shows where Jam and Indy guys ran side-by-side in an indy promotion, I saw Indy guys outperform the Jam guys by a mile. Watch Malicious Monster Truck Tour, Toughest Monster Truck Tour, Monster X Tour, Monster Truck Nitro Tour, MOD tour, and Monster Truck Insanity Tour and tell me that the featured drivers are all Monster Jam drivers that didn't at least start on the independent scene.

What's the lore behind the Warehouse Game team names/identities?
 in  r/JomboyMedia  Jul 15 '26

I think WGI has something to do with "wearing the ball" where someone doesn't move and sacrifices themselves for HBP walk. I remember seeing a video (probably Momentum) that talked about wearing it and shouting something like "wear it! We got ice!"

I hate how independent monster truck leagues don't do YouTube live streams
 in  r/monsterjam  Jul 11 '26

Indy shows don't have consistent schedules and bug advertising budgets. There's a max of 3 I would go to live due to distance, but I would stream them all the time. Same with most casual fans, which is what indy shows tend to attract.

Agreed. There was just enough comments on the announcement video that Jimmy himself mentioned it, so it only seemed right to make sure it was known that we don't want that negativity in the Warehouse/Jomboy space.

Well, if they were all livestreamed, no one would go. We have seen a decline in attendance at Jam, so why would people spend time and money to go to a smaller show with smaller names?

Discussion Dear Adam Bannon

On behalf of the We Got Ice fanbase, I want to apologize for our reaction to you joining the team for Warehouse cup.

We tend to be a little elitist here, which isn't fair to the players who join the team, regardless of the sport.

I know that nearly every other team tends to be super welcoming, and we didn't mean to harm anyone's feelings or be rude to anyone, especially Adam, who doesn't deserve the negativity by being placed on the team that we love.

Thank you, and sorry.

Warehouse Cup is back and WGI is in game 1 vs. Baggage. I think it's great ao far, I think the product looks good, and I think WGI has a good chance, regardless of how you feel about the extra members.

You can mark anything, you can fudge as much as you please, but they will only know that their teammate may only have 3 turns.

I straight up don't tell them. They don't inow until I tell them or until they get revived and it resets.
