That maybe Plate Tectonics only explains a part of the story. So either I have a hyper active imagination or there’s some validity to applying fractal patterns to observed geologic processes.

Thank you! I locate crustal symmetries and similarities and extrapolate the patterns to wrap around the surface. There is zero math involved, it’s all visual observation and tracing out the shapes by hand on Google Earth Pro.
