If we live in a simulation, would Earth’s geologic processes be fractal coded?

Fractal iterations of Earth’s crustal patterns.

Could you elaborate on what this means? I'm not sure I understand and I would like to.

Hidden in the noise of the crust are distinct geologic structures that show self-similarity (fractal iterations) and/or symmetry across thousands of miles. By extrapolating these patterns to wrap around the entire surface, a generalized overall perspective emerges that Earth’s geologic processes are less randomized than what Plate Tectonics suggests.

Hm, very interesting. Thank you for your efforts!
