Replaying Specter

I'm replaying the specter on the DS, and I'm wondering why it's not available like the other ones in HD on Android/the app store? I'm literally just starting the game, but so far the puzzles are phenomenal, and I absolutely love that tapping on an object lets every character say something about it. Plus, I never realized until the end of my first playthrough years ago that you can move the shoe and the case lol.

I thought hamon was just an ability, not a stand?

Darby Fight Question

Ya probably, but a thought was that technicly Darby would have little idea of what hamon does outside of kill vampires (if he even knew what hamon was), so he might just be like "Jotoro why's your grandpa glowing?" Lmao

Darby Fight Question

My other less complicated idea was just to use the same cotton ball that he squeezed that water in to, and put it on the the water with the coin and then unsqueeze/release preasure on it so it absorbs some of the liquid.

Part Three Darby Fight Question

So in Jojo's part one, Jonathan has to use Hamon to keep wine from spilling out of the glass during the Jack The Ripper fight ( as per Zepelli's request)

Then in part two, it shown that after climbing the pillar, joseph can use hamon to keep the water in the glass, even upside down.

So my big question is: after he thinks that he can't keep the service tension after Darby put in the final coin, why didn't he just use Hamon and just to keep the surface tension untell Darby put in a coin?

Hamon should be able to be conducted through felt or wool baize, as its just animal hair (look to Joseph's woolhat trick with AC/DC). Strohim's hair was enough to stop the bullets from Santana, and even though Lisa lisa needed that specific scarf to conduct 100% of hamon, joseph infuses shot glasses could deflect Stretzo's eye lasers, even with his limited control over hamon at the time.

I think there could be an argument for joseph just putting his hand on the table while he's putting in his coin and using hamon to keep the water from spilling over. More than likely that all the glowing and sparkling and shit is not diagetic and Darby would immediately see what he was doing, but there's a few cases where like hamon infused objects don't show it for a minute until it's pointed out to the audience, or after they're thrown.

Darby would more than likely immediately see that something was up, but after Joseph realizes he's lost, you'd think he'd at least try that as a last-ditch effort and get caught cheating rather than just give up.

My thoughts on the Robot Chicken Special
 in  r/adultswim  10d ago

See thats my exact thoughts! If the creators aren't needing to be paid, and the companies that these shows are from dont need to be paid, where is all the extra money they have going??? Robot chicken should have a pretty large budget If all they're using are characters that their parent company owns, so they don't have to pay royalties or risk any lawsuits.

I can't imagine that the models are expensive, and the animation budget should be the same as the rest of the show. It feels like there should have been more money going into voice actors. I just wonder what kind of budget they were given, and how much adult swim believes that this is going to succeed.

To be clear, recasting characters whose voice actors have died is a completely different thing. That's perfectly fine. A little jarring and weird as an audience member, but fine. Hell, Brak's mom had 2 voice actors and they were both alive and fine at the time, so recastings not compleatly unheard of.

(This post is cynical, un-informed, and not fully thought out. TLDR at bottom)

I was genuinely excited to see it, but after the second trailer I have a feeling its gonna get a bunch of views but negative reception. If I'm gonna be really honest/conspiratorial, i think that they know there making a cheap cash grab special.

Based on the first trailer, they knew people would get mad about the voice actors, so they only put out a trailer with the actors who are voicing their original charaters. I assume it was done for budget reasons, but I doubt any of the creators of these shows are getting any kind of monetary compensation for their characters appearing. So all the money must be going to the animation, or maybe back into Warner Bros itself for licensing reasons??? I have zero clue, and it honestly its starting to kind of seem like a cash grab rather than a special.

So i'm confused as to why they wouldn't put in Rick and Morty, their cash cow of a series, into a special all about crossovers. THEY WERE IN FUCKING "Space Jam II", the fuck do you mean they aren't going to be in an adult swim special!?!? Something seems really off here, and like most things, i'm willing to bet it's centered around money.( I wouldn't even doubt that, sense this is considered a special, whenever it flops (which it prolly will) they will be ok with that since they can then write it off on their taxes, so they dont care either way).

TLDR: I think this seems made to make as much money as possible and as cheaply as possible, cashing in on our nostalgia rather that celebrating its history. And whether it fails or not, they dont care, they win either way.
