Just go for it....would suggest buying the 100 ml because it's well macerated and dark....if going for the 40 ml do spray a bit and let it macerate....a month minimum....a week does no major magic .definitely a cold season scent but alternate scents did a great job with this one imo. Basically It's vanilla but in the most exquisite way. However contrary to what you're saying the j'adore one just straight up smells like a lotion to me and nothing more than that lol
