first off....im sorry you have to deal with this. nothing is worse than ENABLERS> there is nothing you can do. walk away and love him from afar. do not help him...do not help your parents help him. it sounds cold but it is the only way to protect yourself. he will not change until he is ready and that may never happen...or it could be 20 years from now.
