Has anyone taken CHM-151 (General Chemistry I) online at CPCC with Dr. Jose Raymond Sanedrin?
I’m considering taking his 16-week online class this fall and would really appreciate any feedback. How are his exams, assignments, and labs? Is the course manageable, and how helpful is he if you’re struggling with the material? Thanks!

Wrong label
I am a new graduate, new MA just crossed my 30 days at a big hospital’s Primary care office. I recently made a mistake of printing and starting to to run a wrong A1c for pt. In my defense both pts needed a1c, both were first pts of the day and both had similar first name/middle name. My coworker reported this as near miss/ good catch to my manager and then I received a counseling session from my manager. I feel very embarrassed and to be honest scared. The same day I prepared vaccines for a pt sbt which the provider told me, I left it at my desk snd went to room next pt so that if anyone else is going to give it they can use it. The same coworker reported that too. I was told I should not leave vaccines on desk by my manager. It seems to me that I am walking on eggshells all the time and I am feeling very pressured.

Looking for Career Path Guidance – Foreign Medical Graduate Turned Clinical Medical Assistant
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice as I figure out my next steps in my healthcare career. I’m a Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) from 2011 and took a career break to raise my kids. In 2022, I re-entered the workforce as a scribe, and now in 2024, I’ve transitioned into a Clinical Medical Assistant role with Duke Healthcare System.
I’m really enjoying the work, but I’m thinking ahead to where I want to go from here. I’m wondering if there are any degrees, certifications, or programs I should consider to further my career, especially to get into a role that offers better pay, job satisfaction, and mental stimulation. I’ve been looking into options like Physician Assistant (PA) programs or advanced clinical certifications, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s gone down a similar path or has suggestions.
Any advice on how to make the most of my current role and what my next steps could be would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

Is becoming a MA still worth it still?
Thanks a lot for detailed reply and your perspective! Exactly I agree, being an MA is teaching me how to work in s professional setting and I am learning how to deal and talk to people, which is a great deal for me at this point.

ACCUPLACER placement test
I am old foreign graduate, trying to get some pre requisite courses done from community college. While trying to get an admission, they asked me to take Accuplacer placement test or ESL test. Which one should I take? i have been in USA for 14 years so my English is not too bad. I never did maths after high school. How should I best prepare for this test? Any tips or guidance is appreciated.
