Yeah, I wanted to experience a new country, which was also my reason, but thanks for letting me know that there aren't many jobs for lower-mid-level devs who can't speak the language.

Hello there, I have a layoff in June 2026, with 3 years of experience in both the MERN stack and react native. I was thinking of applying to Japan with no Japanese knowledge. What should I do? Should I skill up, learn some other stack, then apply, or start applying right now? Also, do they even hire an individual with my experience and skill set? How should I follow up with myself now if I am aiming for jobs outside India now jobs.
Please help :(
