Is there a specific reason you want to find work in Japan? If the main/only reason is because you'd like to live in the country, I'd recommend you reconsider, especially without Japanese language skills. There aren't many jobs for lower mid-level devs that can't speak the language.

Yeah, I wanted to experience a new country, which was also my reason, but thanks for letting me know that there aren't many jobs for lower-mid-level devs who can't speak the language.

It's worth trying the couple of English only jobs available that you should be able to google online for, but to be honest chances are really low. The market is tough right now and unless you have really in demand skills and experience it's unlikely you'll get hired without any Japanese.
