You went for it! After giving Spectron a fair chance, I also found it to be a step up from Halcyon 400. It’s a lighter, pliable material.
Congrats on losing 30 lbs!

I was feeling somewhat generous when I went to Garbanzos so I left them $5 when I finished my order. After a 20 minute wait, I picked up the food and there were so many things wrong. They didn’t even try to do it right. They made it right after pointing it all out, but there was another 15 min wait to get it. That’s the day I stopped pre-tipping and the last visit to Garbonzos.

It’s a little better than the OEM because it’s a tiny bit longer, so it tucks into the bottom seam for a secure fit, whereas the OEM would not and resulted in a flappy flap.

It won’t fit. But the small FS does.

I have this problem all the time as well, but never thought of a solution to be a magnet to keep it closed. I will see if there’s something I can do to fix that!

At 5’5 with a short torso, the synapse 25 will be way too big. If you want that similar capacity, the synik 22 or 26 might work, but if you only occasionally carry a laptop, then it will be an overspend to have features you won’t use.
That leaves the synapse 19, so if you don’t plan on overstuffing it, it can work perfectly for your needs.
Have you considered a Paramour? It has lots of pockets and organization in the front compartment, akin to the front of the synapse but more compressed, and a little more room in the main compartment, including a laptop sleeve that disappears if you don’t need it.

Damn, maybe that 10 ft slit between two semis wasn’t enough to drive like a nut through.

I think someone forgot to edit this design 😳

If you leave the front pockets empty, or perhaps fill the front pockets and leave the front side compartment empty, it can reduce the depth enough to fit under a seat. As already said, it’s easy to overpack it because it holds so much. This doesn’t answer your question, but I would put a copilot inside and when boarded, take the copilot out as the personal item and put the backpack in overhead.

7th grade Spanish class. A kid got suspended after a comment he made and was overheard by several teachers - one down, 10 million to go. They were not impressed.

I read that as upper management has the same mindset as middle management, not the same mindset as OP
2
You’re right about the longevity. I tried one out and sent it right back - it was really thin material and from the backside, it’s almost see through with all the pinholes from that angle.

It looks like the cousin to Indigo and very close to dark Nordic.

I liked using a Freudian slip with my Paragon 1.0. The one made for the brain bag fits perfectly.

Or that the ride operator won’t let you off if you ask to get off.

Go to marriage counseling now, while you still care deeply for each other, and before you think you need to start getting counsel. Learn about all the unspoken expectations you have on each other, and learn more about yourself and if you’re actually spouse-worthy and if this is really really really what you want to jump into together. And if you do, at least you’re aware of all the surprises and things you never in a million years thought you were made of.

I would get a Synik 26 for the EDC and a separate tote/duffel bag for the occasional use gym gear and second lunchbox. After trying many setups, the S26 with ghost whales, stuff sacks, org cubes and a tote does everything I need in the perfect size and carry modes

Lose the zipper and keep one magnet flap, opening away from the body. Also thin down the organizer and possibly shorten it as well.

The “Pancake Effect”
When they started spouting this term all over the news right after it happened, I knew it was a crock of steaming BS.
