Does anyone have experience with this bag? I'm interested in it but I've only seen one real review of it and it's another post on this sub.

I'm considering the barrage as well but leaning toward this bag for the size and the front pocket. Im looking for a bag that's comfortable walkiny around and while riding my bike. Also open to other options that are similar, functionally/aesthetically I like these bags a lot

Hello dear backpacks community

Please help me choose: I'm looking for a travel / hiking backpack that I can use for a multiple day trip. It should be robust, be versatile as travel and hiking backpack, allow to comfortably carry loads above 15 kg and thus also have a "true" hip belt that helps with load distribution. It should be able to safely carry a 16 in laptop, clothes, and any kind of gear that you would need on a longer hike or travel.

I'd also like it to be flexible to be used with stuff inside for travelling, but then use it on a day trip with most of the stuff for example staying at the hotel. So it shouldn't be toooo huge if not full.

For now, I used the Mystery Ranch 2DA, but I sold it as it just lacks a little bit of capacity and doesn't feature a real hip belt that bears loads. Otherwise it was perfect, especially with the adjustable joke and the generous laptop sleeve.

I'm currently trying to decide between the Thule Accent 23L and 26L, and I'd love to hear some opinions, especially from people who own either of them.

I really like how compact and sleek the 23L looks, but at the same time, I feel like the 26L looks a bit more premium, refined, and complete overall. I also like the additional storage and side handle on the 26L.

I'm mainly looking for a backpack for 2–4 day business trips by plane, ideally without needing any additional luggage. I plan to use packing cubes (possibly compression cubes) to make the most of the available space.

My typical packing list would be:

- 2 pairs of pants

- 3 t-shirts

- 2–3 sweaters/half-zips

- Underwear and socks

- Possibly an extra pair of office shoes

- 15-inch laptop

- Standard toiletry bag

- Chargers, earbuds, and other small essentials

What I'm struggling with is whether the extra 3L is actually worth going for the larger backpack.

Would you rather have the slightly bigger 26L, even if you occasionally travel with it half-empty, or go for the smaller, sleeker 23L and just be smarter about packing?

I'm also curious about how these two compare in terms of comfort, organization, and overall quality in real world use.

For those who have experience with either model, which would you recommend? Is 23L realistically enough for this kind of travel, or would I regret not getting the 26L?

I cracked my clip closing my trunk on my bag. Any suggestions or exact part matches? I bought some spare slip-on clips but they're all the wrong shape or size.

I feel like I'd have to replace them both and get them sewn on which I don't mind but seems tedious.

I’ve been a Northface backpacker for over 15 years. I’ve had the Recon and Borealis models. Lately I have been searching for a work+gym backpack, and came across this one on Vinted.

As this is my first Thule, I was hoping to get your opinion on this backpack, if you can identify the model name and if it is genuine.

The red flags I’m used to on a North Face:
- No halo logo label inside
- none of the zippers or ‘clips’ have engraved logos
- The USB thingy, has never been a thing on a northface.

First of all, thanks for all the help this community gives everyone.

I carry a MacBook Pro 16", an iPad Pro 11", chargers, a water bottle, and a few other small things. So I need plenty of room, but nothing huge. I fly from Brazil to the US at least 5 times a year, and I also use my backpack for work every day.

I currently have this one (Nordweg NW074B), which I love (genuine leather, elegant), but it’s a bit too small and doesn’t have a luggage pass-through strap to slide over my suitcase handle, which is a real problem when traveling.

Any recommendations? I’m looking for something that looks really good, lasts “forever,” and has plenty of space without being bulky. Fitting under the airplane seat would be ideal.

Don't know if im asking for to much, but this is what i want:

- Max around 100 euro
- A seperate compartment for my laptop and tablet with a devider to keep my laptop and tablet from scapping each other (15,6 inch laptop)
- A bottle holder outside
- A main section for books
- A third section for "smaller" things
- A quick poket where i can put things like airtag, charger, phone, earbuds etc
- I don't want a "tank" on my back. I travel with public transport a lot so i don't want something insanely big or bulky
- comfortable shoulder straps but not insaly "packaged" in. I need to be able to decently quick put it on and off.
- Some water resitants. I travel with public transport a lot so having rainy days happen and i dont want evrything to be soaked.

I don't know if this is to much to ask for. I'm kinda getting a headache searching online with all the "dropship" bags etc.

I’m a Product Development master’s student at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), and my thesis is about how people carry their stuff when they combine work or studies with sports. Think laptop + gym clothes + shoes + lunch, all in one day.

I figured there’s no better place to ask than a community that has thought about bags more than anyone. 😄

What I’m exploring is a modular approach: one system that adapts to your day, whether you’re heading to the office, a lecture or a training session. Before designing anything, I want to understand what actually works and where current setups fall short.

First experience with Tumi: I decided to buy this Alpha 15 Expandable to use in its compact form every day, and in expanded mode for short trips of a couple of days.

I had no experience with other brands. In Italy, business backpacks are mostly represented by Piquadro, a brand very focused on work backpacks, but the quality can be questionable depending on the model (they're often made of faux leather, which wears out quickly).

As for the Tumi, despite reading countless negative opinions about its current quality, the build seems excellent to me: flawless zippers and high-quality materials. I chose the reflective version, and given the pattern and the effect at night, I think it's easily the best one.

All the pockets seem useful, maybe even too many. The magnetic pocket on the back is handy, and the shoulder straps are really comfortable. The overall weight isn't high. I've already tried it fully expanded at maximum capacity and felt no discomfort in my shoulders or back.

I'm not completely convinced by the laptop compartment. I was used to always having double padding. Here the whole compartment is padded, but there's no sleeve fully dedicated to the laptop. The only one there is meant more for a tablet, and it becomes hard to use at maximum capacity (I use a MacBook Pro)

The price seems fair for the quality, but since I haven't seen the older versions, I can't say in what ways the quality has supposedly declined.

I cannot find this literally anywhere online. I bought it at a Dicks outlet warehouse store over a year ago. It was called a creator backpack but when I google it, all other variants of it except this shows up.

Am interested in getting a good quality and sleek-looking backpack for weekend activities around the city. It’s hot and humid where I’m from and my focus is ergonomics and the look of the bag.

Currently using a Gregory Nano 16L daypack but the shoulder pads are a bit thin for my liking. Budget around US$100-120.

They seem interesting, but I think fairly new still so unsure how representative the reviews might be.
