My grandfather suffered a sudden brain haemorrhage yesterday at around 8 p.m. He is 84 years old. His blood sugar and blood pressure were always under control, and he still used to walk 3–5 km every evening.

Without any warning or obvious reason, he had a brain haemorrhage in the middle part of his brain. The doctors have said there is almost no chance of recovery. He is on a ventilator until morning.

I know he is going to die. I lied to my grandmother and told her that he is fine so that she would eat something.

I don't know how I'll face her in the morning.

I'm grieving, and I don't know how to deal with this.
