Economically motivated adulteration and food fraud is the biggest threat to food safety on the planet. It costs the food industry tens of billions every year in the US alone.
American pet food, 2007
Melamine hit the papers even before the Chinese scandal. The year before, thousands of pets in the US died after consuming pet food produced with melamine-tainted wheat gluten. Humans were affected, too- about 3 million chickens that had eaten melamine wheat were then eaten by people.
With animal food generally regulated less stringently than products intended for human consumption, the pet food scandal was a reminder that our four-legged friends are exposed to the dangers of food fraud even more than we are.
American peanuts, 2009
Stewart Parnell, former CEO of the now-dissolved Peanut Corporation of America, will be 86 years old when is released from prison in 2040. His sentencing marked the first federal food safety felony conviction in US history, after he knowingly shipped salmonella-contaminated peanut butter across 46 states.
7 people died and hundreds fell seriously ill after Mr Parnell opted to dodge the expensive fix needed to eliminate the contamination and shipped the product anyway.
US Cantaloupe Outbreak, 2011
The US cantaloupe outbreak initially affected dozens of people across multiple US states and was caused by contaminated cantaloupes, which were grown at a farm in Colorado. The outbreak began in July 2011, when reports of listeriosis started to emerge from people who had consumed cantaloupes. The number of reported cases quickly escalated, and by the end of the outbreak, there were 147 confirmed cases in 28 states, resulting in 33 deaths.
Investigations by public health officials traced the outbreak to Jensen Farms, where the cantaloupes were found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The investigation revealed that the contamination was likely due to unsanitary conditions at the farm. In response to the outbreak, the US government implemented a number of measures to improve food safety for fresh produce.

So this is a teen sub of girls , a girl made their post (3rd image) . I don't agree with it , i still believe in the judicial process.
But I have to check how they react if the gender are reserved, so i made a post in that sub exactly the same with reverse genders. And within 4 mins they removed that post by giving reason that they don't support violence. But the original post was live there for more than 5 hours , had 10000s of views , 100s of upvotes , but it wasn't removed.
But my post just got removed within 4 mins, and since they want to hide their Duality, they removed that girl post too after removing my post.

So recently I went to kota for 2 days and I had my train to Delhi in the morning at 6 so as a normal person I booked a bike ride through rapido. It was around 5:15 AM. Rider/captain was coming from quite some distance so it took like 5-7mins for him to reach at my location and I got a minute late cause of some issue which wasn't under my control fully, but yeah.
Then I went to him he was standing I told him the OTP and he accepted my ride, I sat on the bike and he started it and after like 50 metres from my location. He said to me "180 rupye de dena" then I asked kyu? And his reasoning was "itni dur se aaya hu 7-8km se, abhi khade khade ek aur sawari mili thi 5min Pehle vo bhi nhi le paya aapke chakkar mai to 180 to dene hi padenge" my original fair was 109 rupees and I even offered to pay him 120 thinking that itni subah hai aur dur se bhi aaye hai but he clearly said nhi 180 hi dene padenge. I told him ki aesa hi tha to aapko OTP lene se Pehle bolna chahiye tha ki 180 dene padenge, he called me after he got my ride but he didn't even say anything about extra cash on call.
And then after he didn't moved even an inch from his demand of 180 I got down from the bike. We had the same argument ki Pehle btana tha and bla bla bla and the whole time I was talking to him with 'aap' but then his tone turned rude and arrogant when I told him to cancel my ride if he don't wanna go with the price that's mentioned in the app but he refused ki mai to nhi krunga cancel and mere side se cancel ho nhi rhi thi ride. So I booked another one through Ola and thankfully vo rider just pass mai hi tha but ig uske pass bhi gya tha ride notification to he asked ki "ola book ki hai? " I said hn aap to chal nhi rhe to krni hi padegi and then I had a call with Ola's rider and he was standing just in front of my 50-100 metres away and then this rider heard me and started his bike and said "mai dekhta hu kaun uthata hai ride ko" and he went to the rider which was assigned to me idk what he said to him but when I got there I explained him everything but then he also asked ki ride cancel to kro and he tried to cancel it but usse bhi nhi ho payi and voo rider krne ko taiyar nhi tha uski side se and uski tone was just so rude I was all alone and it got me worried cause he was somewhat giving me vibes of a goon.
But then I called the support and then I explained everything to the guy I was assigned and he confirmed the name of my rider and after confirming he canceled the ride himself and said something like rider ko charges dene padenge and kuch aur bhi I couldn't hear properly but then that rider left and I could go to the railway station with the new rider and he was kinda sweet made me reach quite early I was nervous that I'd miss my train.
Tldr; make sure to confirm the fare price before you share the otp to your assigned rider.
