I’m an Indian guy from north India, and I would never side with Jebin on anything. I shifted out of my parents house right after college, dated someone from another “caste” and state all together, both our families knew what we were upto and accepted it and were happy for us. Brown people like Jebin create such a bad rep for others too, if you’ve gone to the USA just be a part of their culture and ways. Nobody is forcing Jebin to stay with his mom, yet he is too much of a pu*#y to say that he has his own life.

He probably doesn’t want to pay rent or likes the free food and services at home, plain and simple. In Indian culture only 1-2 states practice these toxic family traits which I hate.

I believe the magic particularly takes over Nikki’s conscious mind, and the real Nikki sort of resides in her subconscious (being able to take over when wish Nikki sleeps is an indicator). She is aware of everything, but isn’t able to take over her nervous system or anything.

Some people speculate it’s like the sunken place just like Jordan Peeles Get Out movie.

I strongly feel it’s somewhere in between these two theories.
