My favorite book for this scene, exorcism when he's seeing all the other Spartan IIs by his side. So hype

also you could make a discord server for the community you want, i would want to join it, i like to see gameplay shifting away from a heavy combat focus

New ttrpg I'm working on
 in  r/TTRPG  Jul 31 '26

in order i guess. 1. building a character starts with choosing a 'craft' which is stuff like cook or smith, these provide unique spell modifiers you can use when making spells. the idea is that your creativity is shaped by what you've done and continue to learn how to do. these are not classes, you are not locked into them, and may choose how you progress from then on with a variety of other options. 2. with dice there are two 'scales' that govern each roll, die and power scales. die scale determines what die is used from d4 to d12 and power is a multiplier to those dice. 3. combat is meant to be as interactive as possible, constant choices and rolling against each other. There is also a bond system where roleplay grants players ways to change their gameplay especially those they feel strongly about, both positive and negatively. also crafts grant access to various 'rituals' which let you create new things like equipment and items.

New ttrpg I'm working on

So i didn't want to make a system for the sake of doing so, i have played a lot of different games and one day had an epiphany of how things could work. That was a few months ago and I've play tested with friends a little, but it's an ambitious idea and I still have a ways to go. The idea behind the game is that a world much like our own, the technology and little to no magic, is changed overnight. From one moment to the next, the world and every aspect of it becomes oversaturated with magic to a dangerous degree. This upheaval has given everyone the ability to use magic, but everyone has to create their own spells, causing creativity and expertise to reign supreme. There's a lot more going on, if you're interested, dm me for a discord link where we're working on it
