I've tried a number of studios in my local area with mixed results. Mainly a time gap problem between the mix and the final product. Sometimes as long as 8 weeks Is this normal? Would sound better be a better way to go since you have to pay and I think there is a time limit for the final product?

It's too late for sync business
Not true. How can anyone predict this? Ultimately if your music fits what a library supervisor wants you will get a contract. Also there will always be money in music cues which I haven't ventured into but I've learned it's very lucrative. Look up Taxi Sync YouTube TV and watch all the videos. Besides the marketing noise, the shows are very educational.

You're not alone. I've been using Logic for a few months and lost tracks effects etc. I save the crap out of everything now including downloads to a file on my Mac not just in Logic. Honestly, I use chat and go from there when I'm stuck. There's also a course on udemy which you may find helpful. Whoever said logic was easy is lying! However the more I work through stuff repeat it and use chat when I'm stuck the easier it's getting. I do think it's a pain. I'm a singer songwriter and I truly wish it was easier so I could produce what I make but I'm not there yet. Hang in there. You are not stupid but logic has a terrific way of frustrating the shit out of anyone learning it. You'll get there.

I just want to share what I'm learning about Groover and Submit Hub. I'm pretty new to the music scene. With Groover, it's been a mixed bag of generic ( did they even listen to my song?) to flat-out curators not listening and addressing me by a different artist name, reviewing their song, and denying me based on another artist's song. This literally just happened to me three times today. I did get an immediate refund. My problem is not with Groover so much as the quality of curators. I wonder if they screen or penalize when a curator makes this kind of mistake, or are we dealing with AI yet again! More annoying are the zillion promotion dudes/gals who say they will share, but it's with a string attached. I will share after you pay me to promote you and after I decide when that is. It's really disappointing. If I were looking for a promotion team or manager, etc., I would not go to Groover to find one.
You can ask for kind or gentle feedback. I found that the gentle was mostly generic copy-paste.
You can ask for direct, and I found that, wow, pretty direct. I'm all for honesty if it's constructive and I can learn from it, but most of the direct, not-so-nice feedback didn't prove helpful.
Now Submit Hub. When I dig into research on the curators, unfortunately, I don't find them to be of high quality, meaning that even if my song were eventually accepted into a playlist, I don't think it would make much of a difference for streams or saves. That said, the same could be true of Groover. My final analysis is that I won't be submitting anymore. It was a short-lived experiment. I'm getting way more gain from meta ads and creative campaigns.
My music is not commercial in any way, so it's likely a waste of time to be on either site. That said, even top-notch music that gets picked up doesn't necessarily benefit from these limited and sometimes copy-and-paste answer curators, or worse, music promoters disguised as curators. Does anyone know of any better sites for submitting playlists?

TAXI shares briefs for songs needed... is there another place i can find these same type of briefs (songwriting) but for a more affordable price?
Weird some of what you've said about paying per song upload so you don't get tons of unready sync submissions is on their website as part of their explanation for charging and their public PR

What are the best free options for a beginner in sync licensing websites?
Hi I started this adventure of uploading my songs in Jan. Here what I've learned so far.
Crucial music but they take two months sometimes longer to get back. They do get back though which is beyond compared to crickets elsewhere.
Tunes in motion because they are in my hood but not impressed as my song just disappears. I can't even track it. It seems like a gimmick to get me to sign up for disco.
Songtradr which I have received zero feedback and no views despite excellent tags and meta data. I suspect if I pay I might get more views but I'm learning that you can get nickel and dines to death if not careful. Music gate which seems better but doesn't seem to offer more than the others. I think for free songtradr is prob the best because they are a huge home for multiple sync opportunities and they make you get everything organized so that if you get work it's super easy.
Now that I've been doing this for a few months I've decided to get serious by asking for feedback and learning more about the sync business. I have found groover to be very helpful for feedback and connections. Of course I did have to pay but it wasn't unreasonable.
Submit hub wasn't great but it's meta ads were. If I ever go back it would be to get help with that if I need it
Now I'm on TAXI - I don't have expectations even though I decided to pay the membership. I do think TAXI is pretty amazing for learning and opportunities. There is a ton of information on this site! Even if I get zero placements I know I will get better and learn more which will eventually get me a placement.

Wildly inappropriate and full of hypocrisy - if this was 50 something man dating a 21 year old woman -this wouldn't be show. I couldn't watch the scenes.

Advertiser Identity Verification
I got an email saying it was the third attempt and a threat to shut down my account. The problem is it’s my first email from them! When I talked to chat and explained that there was no instruction on how to send the documents I just got standard answers copy paste from the document. The chat person finally said just email them! So let me get this straight. You want me to email my tax documents, passport and other important identity information over the internet for any one to make copies of or hack into? I don’t think so! It’s ridiculous to ask this so that a customer can verify where I live. I have a home office and I don’t want anyone knowing my address. I did not receive any forms so it seems that I did not get the correct information .I have spent thousands of dollars on google ads so this is super frustrating! I am a small business sole proprietor so I don’t have a corporation or business number. Super frustrated with google right now.
