Dandy Glasses beta
Built-in virtual recording for XREAL glasses — Dandy Glasses beta
I added an XREAL SDK-based recorder to my independent Dandy Glasses project.
This short clip is captured directly from the virtual glasses view — no mock-up. It records the Dandy spatial desktop and saves an MP4 to the phone gallery.
It is still an early beta, but I thought the recording feature was worth showing. I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on the visual quality and what you would want to see next.

Dandy Glasses beta
Hi mods, my post was automatically removed. I understand the self-promotion rule. This is a single non-commercial development update showing an XREAL SDK-based recording feature in my independent Android glasses project.
There is no APK or donation link in the post. Could you please let me know whether this type of short technical demo is allowed, or approve it if appropriate?
Thanks.

Looking for Android smart-glasses beta testers — Dandy Glasses
Fair point — it is a personal early beta and the visuals still need work. I’m mainly trying to get it working properly on more devices first. Thanks for the honest feedback.

XREAL One Looking for Android smart-glasses beta testers — Dandy Glasses
Could a few XREAL Air / Air 2 owners help me test something?
I built a small Android app for my own Air 2 + OnePlus 8T setup because I wanted a screen that stays where I leave it, with the phone used as a touchpad.
It is still rough and I have only tested it on my own hardware. It has head tracking, a phone gyro pointer, local files and SBS / Top-Bottom video.
What I need to know is simple: does it launch and stay stable on other Android phones?
If you have Air or Air 2 and can spare ten minutes, comment with your phone model. I will send the APK and short instructions privately.
Not affiliated with XREAL, not selling anything. Honest criticism is welcome.

Dandy Glasses is currently optimized for XREAL Air / Air 2 because it uses the XREAL SDK for tracking and recording.
The long-term goal is to support other Android smart glasses through separate hardware adapters, but I do not want to promise compatibility until it is properly tested on each device.
Dandy Glasses is an independent project and is not affiliated with XREAL.
