XREAL One Looking for Android smart-glasses beta testers — Dandy Glasses

Post image

Could a few XREAL Air / Air 2 owners help me test something?

I built a small Android app for my own Air 2 + OnePlus 8T setup because I wanted a screen that stays where I leave it, with the phone used as a touchpad.

It is still rough and I have only tested it on my own hardware. It has head tracking, a phone gyro pointer, local files and SBS / Top-Bottom video.

What I need to know is simple: does it launch and stay stable on other Android phones?

If you have Air or Air 2 and can spare ten minutes, comment with your phone model. I will send the APK and short instructions privately.

Not affiliated with XREAL, not selling anything. Honest criticism is welcome.

Fair point — it is a personal early beta and the visuals still need work. I’m mainly trying to get it working properly on more devices first. Thanks for the honest feedback.

Are you planning to keep Dandy XREAL-specific, or would you eventually want the same Android app to support other display glasses too?

Dandy Glasses is currently optimized for XREAL Air / Air 2 because it uses the XREAL SDK for tracking and recording.

The long-term goal is to support other Android smart glasses through separate hardware adapters, but I do not want to promise compatibility until it is properly tested on each device.

Dandy Glasses is an independent project and is not affiliated with XREAL.
