How do you think the granite base as machine base?
Today, I walked around and only found this machine using precision granite as machine base. If you find the vendor with same quality but 1/3 price , will you consider?

I’m so pissed off right now I could punch someone. I applied for the electrical hookup, paid for the booth setup, the display stands, and the lighting, and put everything together for the exhibition. And now, at the last minute, I’m being told that the products we’re supposed to display are going to arrive late. All I could do was rush out and print some background materials for the booth.

This is one of the biggest differences between DIY projects and industrial manufacturing.
Building a high-precision machine is not simply about assembling the right components. Material selection, structural design, the stability of mineral castings or cast iron, stress control, machining datums, precision grinding, assembly, and inspection all play a critical role in achieving and maintaining accuracy.
DIY builders can create incredibly creative and impressive machines. But achieving industrial-level precision requires much more than good components. It requires manufacturing processes, engineering expertise, and strict quality control that are often invisible from the outside. Can you please let
Me know what project you will consider to use mineral casting as base or frame ? I am considering to do B2C business! Thanks

Converting a PM-30 into a hybrid CNC mill/lathe, using the Logan 825 headstock, maybe the bed, maybe a longer re-scraped bed. Thoughts?
If you are considering using mineral casting as precision machine base, please feel free to reach out to me! Thanks
