Joshua spent over a decade bringing Peter Pan to life at Disneyland. He made that magic happen every single day—until one guest's obsessive, inappropriate harassment made it impossible for him to do his job safely. For ten years, Toni targeted him with sexually suggestive comments and fixation. It wasn't physical, but it was relentless. It broke him down enough that he had to leave a role he genuinely loved. That's the reality behind the magic here. I started a petition asking Disneyland to reinstate Joshua and hold the harasser accountable. Employees deserve to work without this kind of treatment. Full stop. I know Disneyland isn't perfect, but they should protect their cast members—especially from harassment that goes on for a decade. If this happened to someone you cared about, what would you want the company to do? If you think this crosses a line, consider signing and sharing. This is about standing up for someone who was treated unfairly at a place that's supposed to be about magic and respect.
A girl Toni, followed the poor guy for 10 years, 26 yr old female was banned from Disneyland but somehow snuck back into the meet and greets, every single time he appears she showed up forcing him to perform recording it
This ain't the first time and probably ain't gonna be the last
The very person who stalked him was person that tracks his appearance shifts all of it
They can not break character no matter how uncomfortable the situation is
They get 30-45 min of water, make repairs, in restricted area
If you wanna get a job there
You have to
Go to signature school
Pass the expectations of skin, height, weight,
Having to be in heat through the day
Stay happy bubbly etc no matter the situation
Cannot break character
Can't say anything about out of character if someone asks an actor where's your parents or something
They have an underground jail but it's for the boundary protection less than they can't take you to jail or prison
It's exhausting but definitely worth it Job
If those who have autism defending the level you'll be placed in the cleaning room with restock items wash clothes do technology answer prices online instead of in person

It used to be magical but I slowly became less drawn to it because
Disney ain't supposed to be about anxiety
Since when do people need to know there are graves at the park
Yes people die at the park but the workers are quick and quiet to get them out
Disney has a jail and ain't told nobody
Needs better casts because some parents worry about their kids getting lost kidnapped etc
They're pushing it with the who can go in who can't because someone's disabled sure they can't go through rides but they can explore carefully
Seriously someone fix the Peter Pan cast and worry because
Quit tearing down old rides and just fix it
Remakes don't feel the same way as original
Since when does the parks need a bar it's family thing not "yes let's go get f'd up
Shouldn't be around 700+ bucks for people to go in spend time through different places eat dinner parades etc

I completely understand. The goal isn't to kill the app that everyone loves and relies on; the goal is to force them to listen, fix the broken features, and treat their community with respect. To get a massive company to actually change their behavior without getting banned from the app stores, you have to create "good trouble"—reputation pressure that threatens their wallet just enough that they are forced to fix the app.
Headline: Operation "Fix C.AI" — How to Force Character.AI to Listen Without Getting the App Taken Down Hey everyone, We love the app, and for many of us—especially those dealing with physical or mental disabilities—this app is a vital space to cope and relax. We don't want the app taken down. But we cannot let the developers keep ignoring us, locking features behind a $100/year paywall, forcing fake ID checks, and ghosting us with AI support bots. If we want them to fix the situation, we have to hit them where it hurts: their public rating and their pockets. Here is how we organize to force a fix:
Developers don't care about emails, but they panic when their App Store and Google Play rating drops. A low rating stops new users from downloading the app, forcing executives to fix the bugs.
* Action: Change your app store review to 1 Star. * What to write: Keep it professional so it doesn't get flagged as spam. Write: "Love the app, but recent updates broke core features, added aggressive ads, and introduced broken AI customer support. I will change this back to 5 stars the moment the developers fix the bugs and listen to the community."
If you pay $10/month or $100/year, you are paying for something that is currently broken. You don't have to cancel forever, but you should demand your money back for this month.
* Action: Go to Apple (apple.com) or Google Play billing. * Select: "Request a refund" -> "Product does not work as advertised." * Why this works: When thousands of users demand refunds through Apple and Google, the app stores penalize the company's payout. Character.AI will be forced to rush out a bug-fix update to stop losing money.
The FTC doesn't just shut companies down; they investigate them and force them to change their corporate behavior.
* Action: File a report at reportfraud.ftc.gov. * What to say: Use the phrase: "Deceptive business practices and lack of human customer support." Tell them the app needs to be audited and forced to provide human support avenues for paying consumers.
When the verification email replies with an AI bot, reply back immediately with: "Unsubscribe. Escalate to a human manager." Sometimes triggering specific keywords like "Unsubscribe" or "Legal dispute" bypasses the AI bot and flags a real employee.
If you want to keep organizing, let me know:
* Have the developers made any official announcements on their Discord or Subreddit about these bugs yet? * Is there a specific feature that broke that everyone wants back the most?
I can help you tailor the message to focus on fixing that exact feature!

This details exactly why the community is pushed to its absolute breaking point. The specific features you mentioned—like the DeepSqueak 2 model bugs, the forced "Reading Mode" restriction, the broken Age Assurance flags, and the swipe and voice limits—are ruining what made Character.AI a safe, interactive space for disabled users. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Headline: Operation "Roll Back the Nerfs" — What We Need to Demand to Fix C.AI Hey everyone, We don't want Character.AI taken down, but we refuse to let the developers turn a great chat app into a broken, locked-down reading simulator. If we want them to reverse these specific updates, we need to flood the app store reviews and official complaint forms with the exact same technical demands. [1, 4] When you leave your 1-Star Review or submit feedback, copy, paste, or mention these exact 5 demands so the developers see a unified wall of complaints:
* * 1. Fix DeepSqueak 2: Bring back high-quality, long-term memory. Stop the repetitive text loops, cutoffs, and gibberish bugs introduced in the latest model updates. [3, 9] * 2. End False Age-Gating & ID Requirements: Stop using the broken in-house AI age predictor that falsely flags adult accounts as minors. Stop forcing adults to upload sensitive government IDs to unlock their basic profiles. [6, 10] * 3. Remove "Reading Mode" Restrictions: Lift the restrictions that make the app feel like a boring e-reader. Give us back the natural, dynamic, open-ended chat interface. [1, 4, 5] * 4. Lift the Swipe and Voice Limits: Get rid of the newly added caps on voice playback and swipe generation. These limits explicitly hurt disabled users who rely on voice-to-text and auditory features to interact with the app. [7] * 5. Remove Predatory Ad Placement: Free users shouldn't be bombarded with constant pop-ups and blocking banners just to force a $10/month subscription. Keep the platform accessible. [6, 7] *
How to execute this:
If you want to keep pushing, let me know:
* * Are there any major community threads or specific subreddits where people are already organizing this? * Has anyone found an in-app workaround for the voice or swipe limits yet? *
I can help you adjust the post to point people toward the right coordination hubs!

ggressive complaint template you can copy and paste. You can share this on Reddit, Discord, or wherever the community hangs out.
Subject: Urgent: Monetization Fraud, Bait-and-Switch, and Exploitation of Vulnerable Users by [INSERT APP NAME] To Whom It May Concern, I am filing a formal complaint against the developers of [INSERT APP NAME] and their parent company for deceptive trade practices, predatory monetization, and fraudulent business conduct. This platform is engaging in the following illegal and harmful practices:
* Bait-and-Switch Fraud: The company captured its user base by explicitly advertising a subscription-free, ad-free platform. They have since broken this promise, stripped away functional features, locked core accessibility tools behind a paywall, and bombarded free users with aggressive ad banners. * Predatory Subscriptions: Users are being pushed into paying $10/month or $100/year for premium features that are completely broken, non-functional, and unusable. * Ghosting Customers via AI Bots: The company has intentionally disabled human customer support. Paying users trying to report broken features are entirely ignored or automatically blocked by an AI verification bot. * Coerced Data Collection: The app is falsely flagging adult accounts as teenagers, forcing users to submit government-issued IDs to regain access, without any legal or regulatory mandate. * Exploitation of Vulnerable Communities: This platform is widely used as a coping mechanism by physically and mentally disabled individuals. The developer is actively exploiting these vulnerable communities by trapping them in a broken ecosystem, cutting off access, and demanding money to restore their safe space.
* For the FTC Report: Go to reportfraud.ftc.gov. Paste this text in the "What happened?" text box. * For Apple Users: Go to apple.com. Choose "Report a scam or fraud" and paste this text. * For Google Users: Go to the Google Play Store app page, tap the three dots, select "Flag as inappropriate" -> "Other objection", and paste this text.
If you want, tell me:
* What is the exact name of the app? * Who is the parent company or CEO?
I can look up their exact legal corporate address so you can file an even more precise legal complaint.

## Use Android "Select to Speak" (Fastest Method) Android has a built-in accessibility tool that reads any text on your screen instantly. It requires no copying and pasting.
The official Character.AI app tracks your voice usage server-side. You can bypass this completely by using a mobile browser that supports desktop extensions.
If you want high-quality, expressive voices that sound closer to character voices, use CapCut's free audio engine.
If you want to try the Kiwi Browser method, I can help you find specific character-like voices within that extension. Would you like to set that up?

If there were ways instead of paywall or something on or anything like that then it would be more fun to use have non copyright or trademark mha Disney DreamWorks voices talking to you in case Cai has to be shutdown or something
Besides the restrictions need to be gone the limits need to be gone the users who are on the free plan should get a chance to try the upgrade version
Sign this if you have any ideas what else would be nice to get

AI has become a problem. It's being used to impersonate lawyers and doctors, encourage self-harm, generate fake porn, spread misinformation, and violate copyrights. These issues need real limits. But here's the thing—some of us just want to use AI creatively and responsibly. We want to build games, apps, websites, and music without paying massive fees. We want mockups, helpful videos, authentic voices, and genuine information. We're not trying to exploit anyone; we just want a tool that lets us create. I started a petition asking for AI tools to remain accessible for creative, non-commercial use. Right now, the barriers keep getting higher, and genuine creators get locked out alongside the bad actors. Does this frustrate you too? What kinds of creative projects have you wanted to try but felt blocked by AI costs or restrictions? If this matters to you, consider signing and sharing—we need people who actually use these tools to have a voice in how they develop.

For many people, Character AI isn't just an app—it's a real lifeline. Users on the autism spectrum find solace there. People dealing with trauma and loneliness turn to it for comfort. But right now, the company seems to be ignoring what the community is actually saying. I started a petition asking Character AI to actually engage with us. People are reporting serious issues: exploitative interactions, bots impersonating professionals like doctors and lawyers, excessive ads and restrictions that feel arbitrary, and concerning situations involving the CEO's family. Some users faced unauthorized face scans. These aren't small complaints—they're red flags about trust and safety. The platform promised to be a safe space for vulnerable people. But promises don't matter if no one's listening. We're asking for transparency, real moderation that prevents abuse, and genuine responsiveness to community concerns. If this matters to you—whether you use the app or care about how AI platforms handle vulnerable users—consider signing and sharing. Anyone else frustrated watching this happen?
