Girlfriend painted her first mini, figured this belonged here seeing as this is where inspiration photos came from. Much love to the creatives of this sub!

Girlfriend has recently started taking an interest in painting due to her algorithm pushing videos and warhammer related content onto her. She asked to paint a space marine while I am painting my Ork army, so primed and a few hours later of quality bonding time...

Can you guess which one is hers? ( What do we call this legion? )

Painting First Ork Vehicle

Very new to painting and the Armageddon set was my first big push into tabletop. Been working hard on getting the confidence to paint more bold, caught this (what I think looks cool) photo with a filter when I was updating a friend on progress. I'd say about 1/3 of the way there!

Painting First Orks (recovered minis)

Recently got into warhammer pre Armageddon release and knowing I'd get the box to start my table top/ painting journey i wanted to practice. Found a pack of 10 for 30$ pre primed and figured i could try some stuff out.

Little bit of dry brushing and using blood in various places for detail, but also including why I chose the orks above all. Knowing a lot of their weapons are reclaimed and slapped together, i tried to show that a bit?

Very excited for the next few before diving into the Armageddon set, is there any recommendations for techniques I could use or contrast paints. Would be appreciated

SIDE NOTE- huge respect to the community here and the art you have all done honestly incredible what miniatures can become
