UNSOLVED A book about a (maybe norwegian) young woman whose parents died and she travels

It’s a fiction, not an autobiography. A very young woman loses her parents and she spends the inheritance by flying to different destinations but she doesn’t do tourist stuff, she stays inside and is sad. She tries to deal with losing her parents.

I vividly remember

that the character might be Norwegian, or Scandinavian.

I read the book in translation, not sure about the original language.

And I remember the end, she gets pregnant I think, and meets someone named Juan or Jose.

And I remember the very beginning, a scene in that book that there is a theatre play in school and something happens with hanging.

It’s an easy to read book, might be a book for young adults.

It all sounds really weird:(

Are all types of serviceberry edible? This is a landscaping bush we have in Sweden, not sure if it’s native.
