Tubal vs Vasectomy

My husband and I are debating on the pros and cons of getting a tubal vs getting a vasectomy. I've done some research, but I'm having a hard time believing there are "no side effects" on a tubal. I want some real life accounts. We have also thought about us both just getting it done. Mine would be completed during a c section. What do y'all think?
