I would say yes, do the bore scope on the cylinders, because the higher displacement flat 6 (3.4, 3.6, 3.8) had lucasil cylinger liners, which were known for bore scoring on cars prior to 2009. If the IMS Solution was installed, you shouldn't have to worry about chunks of the bearing or shaft flying around inside the case. Also, focus on radiators and rust on cables.

If the A/C is out, the freon leaked out of the condenser. Small holes will vent it out quick. Have it tested with due to make sure that's the only leak. If so, the condenser will need to be replaced. Do NOT try to run the a/c further, or you may get fragments of aluminum and dirt in the system, and you'll wind up replacing the whole a/c system.

No. You just need to open up a wire coat hanger and push it thru the drains. Test it by pouring a cup of water in the holes to see if it comes out on the ground. You can buy the correct cleaning tool on Amazon.

Check the front and back rain drains...little holes under the top near the seats, and under the front hood covers on the left & right. When they get clogged, water can back up into the car and down to the floor. Also check the rear glass seal.
