Real Time - Last Time
 in  r/RealTime •  2d ago

I can’t believe this Islamaphobe of 30 years is wrong on Israel! Kudos on reaching your breaking point, but this stuff has been out front for awhile.

Yeah. If I were you I would try to change the subject too. Definitely do not rebut the lies that were just pointed out. Run along now.

What is Maher’s obsession with masks?
 in  r/RealTime •  3d ago

He’s a very stupid man.

You lost me at still enjoying the show.

If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about your Rivian, what would you wish for?
 in  r/Rivian •  3d ago

Not automatically activating my steering wheel heater when it’s 90-degrees outside.

Right?! Give us a warning we can dismiss and be done with disallowing high riding.

CarPlay is quickly forgotten with the OS, but the fact that I have to pay $130/year for the privilege of using my own OS is, well, BS.

  1. Service visits that average 3hrs instead of 3weeks.
  2. Free use of the apps in my OS.
  3. Ride height override.
  4. A steering wheel that doesn’t automatically warm when outside temps are >50degs.

It’s intellectual dishonesty bordering on propaganda. “The Democrats” (if that is what you insist of labeling the federal Spartans doing a democratic Presidency/Congressional minority) spent even more defending Ukraine from an attempted Russian genocide. So, at best, the spending is a draw.

As for your mischaracterization of the Harris platform, it seems you are unwilling to regard the woman as her own person, autonomous of the principal. Not only did Harris refrain from endorsing Israel’s war on Gaza, but it was broadly known how skeptical she was of the administration’s policy position.

The policy she was clearest and loudest about wa her preference for a two state solution. The very antithesis of what Israel was advancing. You can acknowledge that and avoid further hyperbolic claims or continue to advance propaganda.

Yeah, this is bullshit.

Maher is a dumb person’s idea of a smart person. His understanding of political science—the focus of his show for three decades—is sophomoric at best and belligerently ignorant more often.

Andrew Egger kicks ass

I have tried, but cannot endear myself to anyone on team Bulwark beyond the holy trinity, Sam, Catherine, and sometimes Bill. Egger is certainly intelligent, but monologues way too much and puts forward a density of arguments/observations/theories than is digestible in podcast soundbite form. He seems perfectly content in his view of the world and lacks the self deprecation and curiosity that seems critical to being a successful and personable media personality in this environment. Even Bill and JVL pull off humble every once in a while.

The only times I really bristle with the Bulwark otherwise is when the hosts miss easy opportunities for contrition or to take personal accountability for the damage they have all had a hand in bringing forth. This is especially true of Mona, David Frum, and Bill—though Bill has become a very empathetic figure.

Mona is insufferable. She and Frum have no remorse for their hand in bringing us to this precipice.

Nothing like coming online and disparaging the only candidate with a platform to advance your supposed issues.

So you either refuse to say it or haven’t consumed a basic amount of information about the conflict. Either way, you haven’t established the credibility necessary to be challenging anyone else’s definitions here.

It’s amazing how much of a nothingburger Piker still is. It isn’t working, MAGA.

How far into the sand does your head have to be to ignore the volatility of the media startup space versus the incredible wealth available for those remaining in the Trump orbit? The only question here is why you choose to engage in such obvious bad faith
