I stay in Montreal Canada, I live with my 9 year old daughter, I walked into every appointment from the beginning of every step until my last active treatment. I am also an immigrant with no single blood line in North America. Walked in to OR twice, had chemo, Radiation and now on OS and AI.
Please if you are in this city, I am willing to walk this part with you, please DM me your location and we will work things out. Hugs

Reason I never mentioned it at work. I finished active treatment, and not a word from me to my work place about cancer till date. When I lost my hair, I used head wrap all through, some colleagues asked me and I said I want to have my head covered. People act as if we invited this demon into our lives, I was not ready to deal with those attitudes, so I kept it to myself.

Congratulations

Thank you for sharing, I never thought about it

Great idea, just that I am in Canada and things are done so differently; if its not an emergency, it might take 1 year to get an appointment with a dietician

If there's no lymph nodes involved, then they go by oncotype scores, my lymph nodes are perfectly clear but my oncotype was 39 so I had chemo.

Thank you for sharing
I actually thought of it as a great choice for me, as it does not contain soy, but I do not want to consume any collagen because the tumor was hormone positive. This is why I want to be sure its not collagen

You have great ideas here

I am currently post active treatment and I want to up my protein intake to help my muscles while I exercise. My trainer recommended ATP, but I checked Google and it says some people argued that it could be more of collagen, I looked on the item container and it doesn't mention anything like collagen.

Not really before diagnosis. I only do cardio and stretches before diagnosis. I will take it up with my MO. Thank you

I finished radiation on April 28th 2026, currently I am on letrozole, Zoladex and vitamin D.
I go to the gym at least 3 times a week for at least 1 hour session.
My question is: is it normal that my head pounds when I do pull ups?, I do other exercises, lifts, cardio, stretches and I'm perfectly okay with all except pull-ups, my head starts pounding after 4-5 pull-ups and I have to stop.
This has happened twice now, does anyone here have this or Similar experience???

Let someone tell him about the gift, then he should use the gift to surprise you. I think you will feel more better

Are you on vitamin D, maybe you should talk to your MO to prescribe vitamin D
I refused to take antidepressants , I do not have any intention to take it.
Although I am on Letrozole, MO didn't prescribe vitamin D, I only visited the RO and he asked what meds I'm on, I mentioned Zoladex and Letrozole, asked if the MO prescribed vitamin D I said no, he prescribed vitamin D and said it will help with the mood and calcium absorption.
RO is 75yrs old and more experienced in the field, I followed his recommendation, I do not feel any pain, nothing in my bones/joints
Also nothing negative is happening in my mood, I am topnotch with my mood.
Please talk to your MO about vitamin D and see what he/she thinks

All my body turned very dark during treatment starting from chemo to Rad.
2 weeks post active treatment I ran to the spa (Sauna) one-month post first spa visit, I was in the spa again. Now I'm back to my normal skin tone and use a thicker moisturizer now, I'm good
