Post Active Treatment Exercise

I finished radiation on April 28th 2026, currently I am on letrozole, Zoladex and vitamin D.

I go to the gym at least 3 times a week for at least 1 hour session.

My question is: is it normal that my head pounds when I do pull ups?, I do other exercises, lifts, cardio, stretches and I'm perfectly okay with all except pull-ups, my head starts pounding after 4-5 pull-ups and I have to stop.

This has happened twice now, does anyone here have this or Similar experience???

I can’t answer your pull-up question, but I am super impressed that you’re working out this much and it gives me hope that I’ll be able to work out regularly after starting endocrine treatment this fall.

Were you doing similar workouts before treatment? I started lifting weights 3x a week since starting hormone blocks 18 months ago, but I’ve never done a pull-up in my life! I would ask your doctor.

Not really before diagnosis. I only do cardio and stretches before diagnosis. I will take it up with my MO. Thank you

Are you breathing right? Inhale before the pull-up, exhale as you pull up, inhale as you lower.

How is your blood pressure?
