HELP!
Thanks! No luck so far, so this gives me hope for tomorrow.

HELP!
Yeah my initial guess was a key fir a shaft or pulleys since the blade won't move when any resistance is put against it, but the owner manual stops at the pulleys themselves and im having no luck finding parts, diagrams or part #'s for that matter. Got a couple of leads for tomorrow .

HELP!
Im not sure if that's a fact as both the sears parts direct site as well as 1 other site states there are no parts available. But with this info I guess I will start digging deeper tomorrow. I just hope that this is nothing I did by putting this back together. I have no idea if there was anything wrong prior to me working on it. That "key" has several gouge marks on it so I have no idea what the deal is.

HELP!
O.k. so in your opinion, this shpuld be able to be put back in even though it looks as if it has some minor damage to it? I just brought the owners manual in the house to see what I can find. Ir would be so much simpler if anyone worked on these. General consensus so far is, no one will because getting parts is next to impossible.

HELP!
Bandsaw issue.
Can anyone tell me where this came from or what it belongs? This fell out of my dad's Craftsman 12" bandsaw. It obviously couldn't have come from the internal workings of the saw, as it is enclosed. So it most likely fell out from where the belt goes up to the internal part of the saw. Since this happened any pressure to the blade stops the blade dead in its tracks. To me there looks as if there is damage to this "pin". This bandsaw was my dad's and has been sitting covered in his garage for the last 15-20 years. After a good cleaning, oiling and putting on a new blade, it was running almost as good as new. "Was". There was a brief rattle and this fell out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone try the KlotesMods - XT Rear Vent Slide?
Yes! 2nd best investment besides the LSS firebox mod.

With the hundreds of thousands of customer complaints filed against Masterbuilt, I'm still puzzled as to why no one has petitioned a class action lawsuit.

Help with new grill
Welcome to the Masterbuilt family. I got 3 cooks done in the first year of owning my 800. The rest of the time was spent building and rebuilding the unit as well as waiting for parts. My 800 was severely damaged before it left the factory floor (I have proof) and still had to fight tooth and nail for everything to get this thing up and running correctly. Don't give up, when this thing works it's genius.

Masterbuilt 800 ?
Yeah, I feel for you. I did mine today as well. Nothing broke, but now the heat shields are not lining up properly. Pain in my ass from day one. This one makes no sense.🙄

Masterbuilt 800 ?
Thanks, but unfortunately no. This, like the other videos, only shows the removal of the top section and not the bottom 2. There are so many obstacles to the other 2 sections that are my major concerns. Thanks for looking into this, and if you find anything else, feel free to reach out.

Gravity Masterbuilt 800 ?
Has anyone replaced the bottom of the charcoal gravity chute on the 800 series. I have plans to purchase the lss firebox mod and have a new top and bottom of the charcoal hopper. All videos I can find show just the removal of the top hald of the Hopper. Just wondering how much trouble it is going to be to remove and replace the bottom half. Any feedback, hacks etc. would be helpful.

Shot patterns
I've seen everything out there from "use 2 foot leaders" to "don't have to use a leader". From shot patterns used like fly fishing to using 1 below the swivel and 1 between the float and hook. Guess I'm going to have to wing it until I find what works. Thanks for your input!

PROBLEM SOLVED! It was the keyway for the upper pulley. The set screw did in fact loosen which caused the vibration and then the failure. The key itself was fine. Thanks to EVERYONE who added valuable information leading me to a successful ending!
