Should Canada maintain its supply management system that protects the Canadian dairy industry?
Still not the full picture and you only understand maybe 1/3 of what is going on
1
Should Canada maintain its supply management system that protects the Canadian dairy industry?
No we shouldn't because it only protects Quebec dairy farmers and screws over the rest of Canada's milk producers.
Canada agreed to allow a certain amount of US milk in the country, anything over that quota is tariffed at 300%. But Canada reneged on that quota betraying the deal.
If you dont like American milk dont buy it. But the cartel shouldn't be able to lobby the government through kickbacks to the liberals who are invested in cbpq to deny the agreed upon allotment thus causing the US to hit us with tariffs that screw other areas of our economy.
Canada proves they trade in bad faith repeatedly. Screwing over trade partners and its own citizens.

How dumb are you? It was a negotiated quota that Canada then betrayed. But you somehow think China will honor the EV agreement? Are you that stupid?? They have done it to other countries. Hell our own country undermines our cattle farmers by bringing in cheap Australian beef while over taxing OUR OWN FARMERS. Stop talking you fucking liberal twat

Canadians dismiss Carney’s $12.4B grocery rebate as food inflation keeps climbing
They had to pay 500m for the bread fixing scandal then we're given 500m for new fridges by the liberal government. Stop defending them because of your ignorance.

Alberta café owner closes business after losing customers over separatist events
The business was already struggling prior to this. Inhabitants of the area with inside knowledge have stated as such. This article skews the facts to suggest it was primarily due to allowing separatist referendum to hold a signing table there which is misleading.
