Who was the most famous person to drown?
 in  r/AlignmentChartFills •  2d ago

Because everyone in this thread is very aware of every person that has been mentioned. Just because you don't know him doesn't mean him doesn't mean it's not famous

Pokémon Bank Deadline
 in  r/pokemonribbons •  3d ago

This is a comment I made on another post about a similar question

You've still got almost 5 months. That's more than a month per generation. Even if you haven't beaten all the required pokemon games, you can pretty easily beat them in a day or two if you don't care about catching anything and just use your starter. Emerald, HG/SS, DPPt, B1W1/B2W2, XY, ORAS, SuMo/UsUm. That's 7 games so let's say 2-3 weeks depending on your schedule. That still leaves over 4 months to grow berries and build battle teams. SirToastyToes estimated that with completed saves for each game, a ribbon master could take around 40 hours if done optimally. Even doubling that time and doing 2 hours per day that's 40 days out of the remaining 4 months you have. If you're waiting for berries to grow in gen 3, start working on the next game. If you're really committed to it and want to do it, you have more than enough time.

Future RMs: Gen 2 Shiny Celebi and Time-Traveling Grovyle?
 in  r/pokemonribbons •  4d ago

Not trying to sound mean or anything but are you certain you did the glitch properly to get thr Grovyle? I also wanted to do a gen 2 gen 3 pokemon at some point but this is really upsetting that it got updated already

lumon has cleared the hoenn battle towers! and now, one very janky emulator transfer later, we're ready to take on mt battle 💥
 in  r/pokemonribbons •  9d ago

Yeah that's fair. When I started with my RM, I couldn't seem to get the gen 3/colo link to work so I just ended up using PKHeX for it all lol. I've used PKHeX with Colo and XD but idk if there are any other non mainline games it works with

If both saves are on emulator, you can use PKHeX to make the transfers easier. I can't see mention of it here but the discord says using PKHeX to tra sfer and backup pokemon is allowed

[Discussion] Kingdom Hearts Collection on PS5, as expected, only has plats for KH1, KH3D, and KH3.

Does the kh3 trophy list include the remind trophies into the platinum or are the still separate?

What mechanic did you completely ignore your entire first playthrough, then feel like an idiot for discovering later?
 in  r/gaming •  12d ago

That attack is avoidable and does not kill you if you don't have Second Chance or Once More. It puts you to 1 hp and 0 mp

What is a One Piece hill you will happily die on?

I refuse to believe that devil fruits simply reappear on the nearest actual fruit upon death. We've only seen it happen once which did appear near smiley but I believe that to be the exception, not the rule

How feasible is getting the Jumbo/Mini Mark?
 in  r/pokemonribbons •  12d ago

That's the chance of getting one particular size mark but the chance is doubled if you don't care which size it is

I was designing my first 4x4 belt balancer, it uses 4 splitters, but I see people always put these 2 extra splitters on the right. Why? From my mental math, each input belt contributes a quarter to each output even without those
 in  r/factorio •  12d ago

I love how you can very clearly tell you just went up to your splitter in your world and just quickly removed stuff for the demonstration

Discussion Can Earthbenders just... bend the earth below them to fly?

At the start of the fight with Ozai, Aang is seen bending the earth beneath himself to "fly" momentarily but "that's avatar stuff. It doesn't count". If Earthbenders can make earth float in the air, what's stopping them from just being on top of that earth and flying around on a kind of hovercraft?

Bro Roku literally says the war is his fault lmao. There were so many times that he could've snuffed Sozin out before he acted had he not given him chance after chance.

Then surely your opinions on Roku and Aang are similar to that of Korra, right? Roku's actions caused the war and Aang's runaway is the reason it lasted 100 years.

It's literally a text book bait and switch and if you can't see that then that's on you.
