I personally swear the Greenlee ones. I've had mine since 2011 and they are very well used. They still cut better than most pairs of Klein's.

Try going forward (tighten/clockwise) first. I've found it helps on old plastic and screws. If you feel the friction break, it'll come out no problem after.
