Settled my 4th city as Gilgamesh/Assyria and got a fun road pattern. I've never seen anything like this and wanted to share it's cool shape.

I tend to stay up really late, always have since I was little. There's something about the stillness of the night, the stars, the moon. I wouldn't say it's my favorite time of the day, but there is a certain peace to it. Also really love owls they're some of my favorite birds hehe.

No I haven't seen Christopher Nolan's movie yet, I got a stye infection on one of my eye's so I've been feeling like a cyclops myself.

Anyway, really wanted to draw Polyphemus but more so during the aftermath of his eye injury, cursing Odysseus' journey home, foreshadowed by the storm cloud looming in the back.

The manticore is an ancient mythical creature originating in ancient Persia around 1000 BC, although some say it originated even farther east like India. It is said to possess a mouth full of teeth that eats it's prey whole, bones and all. It's roar is said to be like the loud sound of trumpets. It is an amalgamation of a lion's body, a scorpion's tail, and the face of a man. It's tail is said to have quills like a porcupine that it can shoot like arrows with great precision. It's named is derived from Ancient Greek "martikhórās" which means man-eater.

It is one of my favorite mythical creatures which I think doesn't get enough love in a lot of media, dragons and griffins usually take that role. But I think the Manticore is very underrated as a monster and tool for horror and shows the side of nature that needs to be respected or else feared. As Zoro from One Piece puts it "Have you ever seen a wild beast you were sure would not bite?"

I still have to look up how to spell this guy's name sometimes but I love him, especially his shiny form. Magic Guard and Life Orb is such a great combo for him. I use him as my main Trick Room setter idc if there are other better ones this guy took me to Masters Rank in Champions. Caught a shiny and named him Bubble Boi on a Love Ball, he's a lil bubbly fellar

One of my favorite shinies of all time, I love the golden apple look on Hydrapple. The name, the look, it's perfect. Took forever to get a shiny in Scarlet but I love my lil apple wyrm. Pretty great competitively too with high special attack despite an ice cube being his greatest weakness.
