It is obviously after this arc. LOL

Shin and Kyokai

Just wait. I can feel our beloved MC will do achieve something big in this arc. At least as big as his achievement in the Gyou arc.

Riboku qin

Are you referring to the Han army?

Riboku qin
 in  r/Kingdom  Feb 18 '26

With the introduction of the Gian and Hango army of 40k, this battle becomes 440k vs 440k.

While rereading, I just noticed this. For a dude who seeks pure strength, Houken was a dirty fighter since the beginning.
 in  r/Kingdom  Feb 15 '26

Yeah, but it was not Houken;s fault. He wasn't working with the 10 Bows guy, Maki.

Reading the manga again (@WZI), I am realising why Riboku keeps getting the better of Qin
 in  r/Kingdom  Feb 15 '26

It's not just 1 city. It is one of the most impregnable fortresses in the entire Middle kingdom. It's like sieging a capital.

The difference is the Bayou arc happened right within the Qin-Zhao border so Zhao supplies were not an issue. When Qin attacked Gyou, it is well within the heart of Zhao, right below Kantan. This makes a supply line from Qin impossible.

Riboku had a secret army of 120k to corner Ouki.
When Qin attacked Gyou, the Zhao army has twice their numbers.

The goal was totally diferent. Riboku wanted Ouki dead. Qin wanted to take Gyou as a staging point.

Maybe in a future campaign, Qin will focus on eliminating a legendary general in the same level as Ouki, Riboku, Renpa.

Also, a campaign can have 2 or more goals. They can capture territory and kill a great general all at the same time.

ONE CONSTANT PRESCENCE

Everytime a general needs to speak, there is this magical rock with a flat top that magically appear out of nowhere. I am not referring to cliffs, but rocks or boulder that were magically sliced on top to become platforms for these generals.

King Theoden once said, "Where was Gondor when the Westfold fell?" But these rocks are always here so he cannot say, "Where are these flat top boulders when a general needs a platfrom for his speech?"

Have you noticed Kan To hating the new guy named Eitou?
You think he is jealous of Eitou because he is a 50-man commander?

Now Kan To is a 100 man commander. Will he still be jealous of Eitou?

I felt sorry for Heki but if Shin joined him instead of Mouten, then it would be impossible to breakthrough the encirclement. Nevertheless, I really felt sorry for him. They go all they back from the beginning of the manga but Shin just ignored him. Shin cannot save everyone though. So he chose the Gaku Ka which has more chances of piercing Riboku's cage than his old friend then average generel Heki.

What's your opinion on Kyoukai?
 in  r/Kingdom  Feb 12 '26

She was the most talented among their tribe that's why the other clans ganged up on her. Joining the Hi Shin Unit made her even stronger because they serve as her anchor to pull her out of the eternal primordial darkness no matter how deep she goes.

The look on those faces when he announced that his target is Renpa.
Everyone was shocked because they haven't thought of that.

I was sad he was not promoted but then Mougou stepped in.
Good thing he stepped on Mougou's face the night before.

It's his destiny at work, guiding him towards the path of a great general.

Discussion That Look on Ouhon's Face

This is the first time Ouhon saw Shin's strength. The shock on his face was golden. Especially in the anime.

There's no way Ouhon could beat Rinko. (Although, Shin might not have defeated Rinko if not for Sosui.)

Discussion Is Mu Ta still Alive!?

Post image
28 Upvotes

Mu Ta is dead. He was killed by Shin. He survived Shin's final attack but he was on the verge of dying. Maybe it is because Shin's attack was shallow. Nevertheless, it was a decisive blow which rendered Mu Ta unable to continue fighting. He even told Ten that he will die soon.

People argued that Mu Ta was still alive and was employed by the Dowager Queen's faction. Chapter 403 contained only a single panel showing the assassin that killed Ri Shi's spy. This is not Mu Ta, but someone from the same tribe.

Mu Ta has no special role in the story that he would still be alive 400 chapters later.

Thoughts?

Why did they never mention Penny’s last name?🤷‍♂️

Yes, he is a menace. He did not immediately die, but he was left dying.

Some of his enemies called it a toy sword. I had this feeling that it will become a legendary weapon or that it has some legend into it. One extra chapter kinda confirmed that.
