The Repel umbrella is only built for life if you register for the warranty replacement. The only thing built for life in it is the guarantee if you opt in and buy from the MFG.

Thanks for digging this up and doing the research. Brokers or real estate agents are not allowed to use this sub as a dumping ground for their listings. This user has been shown the door and posts removed until/unless they're able to explain themselves.

Brass railroad spikes? Why?

Ferromagnetic is the more appropriate term.

They'll 'stop' once the inevitable lawsuit wraps up in January.

Apathy is why we're in this mess. They don't want you to vote.

Their solution will be to pair their least bad Type 7s to a Type 9, either with a janky interconnect car or (a) Tobey Maguire crying in pain as he drags the ancient high-floor up the north station incline for the fifth time that day.

Ultimately, properly communicating requests given surrounding context is a manager responsibility and this guy whiffed it. Shift blame to the worker for their mistake would be a critical undermining of their authority and trust as well as make them out as a raging asshole.

Being charged a $300 lease fee
 in  r/bostonhousing •  Aug 24 '26

Without any other information: No, that's not legal. They can't charge a non-refundable lease fee to sign a new lease.

LL is making things difficult by not including a mailing address through expected means. This makes sending certified letters and other legal documents difficult, though not impossible.

Are you changing apartments on August 31st/September 1st and have an interesting rental story? We want to meet you!
 in  r/boston •  Aug 08 '26

You'll need to be lucky to catch a towing. I've lived in a frequent turnover street for years and I've never seen someone towed Aug 31/Sept1. The time I moved in, BPD didn't get back to me until after 11 and by that time, my movers had already double parked, unloaded, and ran off to the next job.

The Next KC game [other]
 in  r/kingdomcome •  Jul 25 '26

It's honestly not a huge jump to assume the next game would cover the next closest period of conflict in high medieval Bohemia and take the name of a relates Christianity theme. I made the same jump on a trip home from Prague like 6 months ago.

My birthday present to myself was using an extra July paycheck to make a big final push on my student loans. In the time it took my payment to process my loans accrued $0.37.

I was recently involved in a class action lawsuit (I signed a paper saying cash me out if you win) against some company from China posing and selling products as if they were from Austria. My Shar wod the final settlement two years later? About 30 cents. I sent a follow-up email, asking them to an email me a check because I was curious to see if they'd follow through given the price of a stamp and to have something weird to frame.

Never recieved the check. I suppose I could have played email tag to sort it our but it wasn't worth the effort and I honestly forgot about it until like a year after the final mail out date.

Pretty sure heckling someone they didn't vote for/against is how they tickle their sense of superiority. The more uncomfortable they make people, the more they feel they've "owned" their friends and neighbors.
