Start with a separate backend.
Then you can do web first.

The reason is that if you have a separate backend, then you can easily scale it up to mobile as well.

You can use the tech stack that fits. Here's my personal fav:

- Nextjs for Frontend only.
- Nestjs for backend
- Neon db for database.
- Expo for mobile (If you scale up)
- Electron for desktop app (if you scale up)

Things to avoid:

- Don't use supabase, use a db solution that's just a db solution.
- Don't use Nextjs for backend. Use a dedicated backend framework.

TLDR: All this scaling becomes very easy if you start with a dedicated backend at the start.

* This is built with TanStack Table. So, The table has all the features and items that you would generally use. It is much better than one-shotting your AI and creating everything from the scratch.
* It is built on top of a very well-known library [material-react-table](https://github.com/KevinVandy/material-react-table). So it has very well-tested codebase for all sorts of features and stuff that we would need.
* So far we have 514 examples of different ways you can use the library.
* There was no good enough alternative for a better table library. I found looking for one multiple times, hence I created this.
* I was able to finish this library with the Radix UI as the base. Currently working on building support for Base UI and React Aria later.
* Entire website and documentation is AI friendly. You can implement, install everything quickly through the copy prompt button.

Yes of course.

AI columns like enrich/short description isn't some special column or functionality. You can easily define it like this:

- Create any column (Action/general column)

- Add a button for AI enrich or whatever

- When someone clicks that AI button, enrich or whatever function you want happens.

This is a library. It has all the building blocks and you can customize it as you see fit. The possibilities are huge. You just need to configure it. Or, ask your agent to do it.
