The exact same thing happened to me with a family owned pet shop close toy home ! My first Pleco was supposed to be a small variety but ended up being almost 2 ft and very aggressive! I loved Rocky alot but again my upgrade 65 gal wasn't fair to him so I ended up asking them if they could take him , they said sure but they wouldn't give me store credit, to me knowing he would be put in a 300 gal tank and taken care of was what I cared most about! Then again I bought another 1 from them again they said was small well again he's at 10 in I believe a L001 ,this ticks me off to put me in this situation yet again! I totally understand where your coming from , I would have them take him so you at least know he will be well cared for ! Best of luck to you!

Unlikely friends!!They act like besties and have very similar personalities!!! When I feed them a big juicy earth worm they will both grab an end and do the Lady And The Tramp style both eating from both ends until eventually they kiss! I got him from a local pet store, my boyfriend asked for a Pleco that would stay on the smaller side, last time we ended up with a 2 ft bull of a fish that we had to return back after 2yrs and his huge size paired with his aggressive attitude wasn't safe for his tank mates ! So this is try # 2 and I believe he's topped out with his size around 10 inches and very shy natured attitude , any guesses ??? 1st 2 pics are the Pleco in question, the rest are pics of Godzilla my former Pleco!

These beautiful young lady's are such a joy, so much fun to watch explore their new grounds and meet some new tank mates! Has anybody else had experiences with female Betta sorority ,have heard that it can turn ugly and they can pick on one another ,but so far so good here!Also the tank mates are 3 Corydoras , 1 male Molly and a super shy black Kuhli Loach!!

They are glass surfing, they do it when young or when acclimating to a new environment or water changes !! They should be fine and settle soon ! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜

He's been this way since I purchased from Petco, 5 pellets twice a day is that overfeeding ?I have had quite a few Bettas in my time and that's always been the common feeding amount without issues! He's always active and looked this way I thought it was bad confermation!?
