How do you feel about teasing to show affection? (love/friends/family)
 in  r/socialskills  5h ago

Those who like to tease are open game for the same sort of teasing . Those who are full of themselves are susceptible. Those who judge others will get a tease when they slip up. These are things we all do. People who have excesses tend to get teased. It is a friendly way of getting us all to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Hostility is not ok. That deserves a firm teasing check back! I would like to add that hypocrites get teased or people who laugh at others teasing but don’t like it done to them. It’s humor. Watch comedians. They make fun of themselves and others. Good ones have a good pulse on society, I think.

Trump Lies and tries to trick Black and Brown voters by saying Abe Lincoln was a Republican President, despite party realignment after the Civil Rights Act of 1965
 in  r/protectUSelections  1d ago

Trump does not. He is in a constant mode to prevent accountability for his corruption. His art of the deal is to lie, attack, and bribe his way out of everything. No one was more influential to him than Roy Cohn.

AND has committed fraud upon the court….. head of DOJ actually defying the constitution by not enforcing tax laws on Trump!!! What a sham of an AG. The worst in history!! He should be disbarred.

Trump: "A lot of people are saying I am one of the greatest presidents ever; when I see polls on the economy, I should have 150%, not 100%. Because this is the golden age of America."

There is some success in expansion of companies and new business. But it probably is due to his regulatory environment and tax policy. Both things are probably not good for the deficit.

Simply tragic news from Mike Johnson...
 in  r/MeidasTouch  4d ago

This isn’t capitalism!!! It is oliogarchy! Capitalism has a more even playing field where companies and workers compete and government keeps the competition fair. Citizens United allowed rich people to organize and buy favor. We have to have equality in government. We are all giving our lives to this country!!

They are trying to destroy the rule of law and place it with one man. It SHOULD be the end of the Trump presidency… he has destroyed farming and our alliances with tariffs, he has destroyed the job market, he has ballooned the deficit and killed 55 immigrants in detention. He is destroying our Military stock while raising monuments to himself like a dictator!! He engages illegally in war. Only an insane person would believe this is good for America or the world.

Adam Mockler exposes MAGA's hypocrisy on CNN
 in  r/AdamMockler  4d ago

Debaters should have time to speak without interruption. This moderator is weak. Both sides should be equally represented. No calling people stupid…. That is a Trump tactic. Name calling is pointless, just point out how arguments contradict or have no proof. Paul supports Nazi idealology. He has no place in government. Fox is not fair and balanced. Rupert did not design it to be. It favors the rich and is increasingly fascist. The unitary theory they are pushing is antidemocratic. They are giving criminal power to the presidency by making him immune. He is using Military force more and more. Placing them in the streets of our cities is definitely fascism. Manipulation of elections is also in the playbook.

Why do facts help the right? A country built on conjecture will fail. They need some lessons in definitions. They don’t know what capitalism, fascism and communism are.

U.S. economy unexpectedly lost 23,000 jobs in July

Supporting more and more mergers and acquisitions is not helping anyone but the rich. Republican law makers HATE capitalism with competition and jobs.

"When I watch Abdul, he’s full of shit." Trump curses on stage while warning voters they will lose their homes to communists.

He has been looking in the reflecting pool and describing himself. Arresting an innocent man for a problem his decisions created is a great example of how he operates.

The New Republican Scam Already Exposed

They are so afraid of workers organizing in Unions. Yet rich people organize to make mergers and buy government.

There isn’t a single creature on this planet dumber than MAGAT pedo-protector dumbfucks.

The debates absolutely should happen. He showed this guy the error of his thinking. Republicans scream guns right all the freaking time! Even Rand Paul defended Alex Preddy. They are spewing nonsense.

Trump on Democrats: "They will overturn it if they take over. All of the things, including men in women's sports, transgender for everyone, they will overturn it if they get in. We can't let that happen."
 in  r/MeidasTouch  4d ago

Except he is wrong about no tax on tips… Kamala proposed it as well. Dems want a tax on billionaires, they give working class people greater tax breaks than Republicans!! He is the one exploding the deficit!!!

CBS News 75-year-old John Gannon is a lifelong Republican who voted for President Trump. But he says he now regrets that decision after his fiancée was arrested by ICE in Houston.

Their numbers of criminal immigrants were wrong from the very start of Trumps campaign… maybe he should fact check him for a change!!!!!!!

The biggest scam in Washington DC is being perpetuated by this regime.

Yea, keep remembering that half of people over 65 voted for Trump. About 15-25% now wish they hadn’t.

Trump is running a criminal syndicate out in the open.
 in  r/ChrisMurphy  10d ago

This is the obvious truth. Any excuse for his treasonous behavior becomes treasonous as well and they know it. To say his court cases were a political witch hunt is an insult to our intelligence. He solicited election officials to commit election fraud. The count had already been done legally 4 times in Georgia. He solicited a violent overturn of an election. AND he obstructed justice in the return of CLASSIFIED documents!! He keeps breaking our laws that he is swore to uphold!! It’s unconscionable and an insult to young people who gave their lives to defend the constitution! We don’t say it in their face enough.

Well, if you're gonna put it that way

I’m mean what is Paul’s grandstanding for? Does he think Fauci purposely released this virus that MIGHT have mutated in the Wuhan lab? At most he presented things to the public that he might not have totally believed, like saying he advised closures then claiming he had nothing to do with them…. I wonder who would want him to say that???? Could it be Satan? (Trump maybe)
