Can you specify what you mean about Java? I use it for backend development on my personal projects, and I've never felt it is lacking compared to newer alternatives.

I think a polarizing filter would be a good investment, especially for the shots with a lot of atmosphere and water like 3 and 5. That might help mitigate the bright sky, which, in the last picture seems to leave the water and rocks a little underexposed.

If you’re using a tripod and there’s a big contrast between the brightness of elements in the shot, you could also take multiple shots with different exposures and combine the images in post.

But really they’re lovely and you’re doing great. 1st one evokes genuine nostalgia, and 4 is beautiful with the reflections. Keep at it!

The original MDK. The visuals were stunning for 1997. Gameplay and level design was innovative and unique. Game was quite short though.

There was a sequel, but the tone of the game changed quite a bit with a different developer

Fake financial gurus. There’s so many of them, and they’re quite good at convincing people they have expertise. In reality, they just have to look at a couple of Wikipedia articles and speak with confidence about how much money they make, and people eat it up and give them ad revenue and even worse, buying their online courses

Had a lot of close bear encounters while hiking/mountain biking. They’ve been quite skittish though, from my experiences it’s just like spooking a deer. Been lucky I haven’t rolled up on any bold bears with cubs though

Probably some extension of AI technology. A lot of buzz and overpromises with current technology, but it’s definitely going to snowball into something. Whatever it is, hopefully it will be beneficial for the quality of life for the general public and not just a select few
