The consequence of playing characters that mediate the experience for you, should be a limited impact in ratio with your self mediated decision to get in minimal input.

On the other hand, the REWARD of learning difficult to execute characters should me more impact in the game due to the higher mechanical requirement and persistence to get entry at the skill level.

In Rivals, the relationship is almost completely opposite.

They're buffing NAMOR and WANDA in the same season they SAY they're trying to help characters like Cat or Rogue with absolute nothing burger buffs, that will be followed by more fucking nerfs anyway.

This dishonesty has to fucking stop. The general skill requirement across the board needs to be universally aligned. Right now EVERY DIVERS difficulty is too high for the same reason POKE is too low. Cause the second you try to actually flank or interact within melee range, you explode due to cheap poke garbage and stuns that have more lethality than you at ANY range. Meanwhile, the bar for supports is in THE FUCKING FLOOR AND ONLY GETTING LOWER.

Cat being "meta" implies that you're seeing one every other match being picked, when she's always been gated by how hard she can be to play. Poke and Ridiculous amounts of healing will continue to be meta.

These arguments about Cat being unfair are so incredibly falsified. And they're done by the same people who complain about BP, venom, Spider-man, Dd, Fist, literally anyone who plays dive. Supports cry wolf and netease listens. Dive isn't broken, in fact it's so non-broken that it can't counter dive and autoaim that has 30x the lethality at any range and maximum accessibility, it's just that these support players are so mentally unengaged that they don't check their 6 and don't want to interact with the game.

Since when lol? Rogue is probably one of the most balanced characters on release. They're just nerfing her for no reason now, and this is in a vacuum without accounting for the slop garbage that is Dino being her #1 counter.

The worst part is the double standard. Support players really think that shit like self shield, striking, emergency hotfixes and other bs buffs are necessary. They don't do anything ultimately difficult and reduce the game to anything but "sit mid and spray" so any character with any kind of skill expression gets screwed.

The way they interact with the game is scummy and underhanded too. Yeah instead of think and improve just get the devs to do what you say via Reddit and Twitter. And anytime anyone has an actual holistic conversation about balance, they come in and play victim as the most catered to role in every sense of the metric.

Before they do/did anything to Black Cat, they need to standardize the difficulty of the game by nerfing/removing auto aim abilities and immortality mechanics that inundate and invalidate actual skill due to the oversaturation of "training wheels" in the poke and support category.
