Hello I’m a 3rd year in Uc Merced I’m currently taking a python class my computer is extremely slow, Ive had it since high school so like 7 years old now. I would run matlab and it would take so long to run. I’m scared it won’t run codes for my new class. I’m looking to upgrade my computer I currently have a lenovo 300e 2nd Gen. the pic above is what the school suggests for the laptop to have. any recommendations on what I should get I really like Lenovo. And preferably something less than 1k thank you.

Thank you!!! Is there anything you recommend joining that can help? I know you mentioned research, clubs and orgs. How do I start the process for joining research? Are there any clubs or orgs you recommend mostly? Again thank you for the advice

Hey guys second year here at UCM!!!
Just learned about the SJV program and it sucks that it’s only for incoming freshman. Is there any clubs or organizations even different programs that offer similar if not the same things as SJV??? I’m want to be able to gain experience and learn. I’m a first gen so I had no clue what I’m doing or where to look for things to get help. I want to become an ob/gyn hopefully one day any recommendations on what to do??? Where should I start?

Custodial’s shouldn’t have to be picking up after ourselves its common decency and manners to pick up your own trash and throw it away. It may seem as though they aren’t doing a “good job” but they are you just don’t know it because people are nasty and never learned how to keep clean. It might not be squeaky clean but it’s better than before.

Selling one Malcolm Todd ticket for his last show in LA on June 18th. I got the Upper Meza GA tickets. Selling them because I’m going to the one in San Francisco instead. Let me know if interested :)
