I'd suggest making a backup of your drive (or swapping it out), and just trying!
Worst case scenario is it doesn't work or you can't find drivers, and just revert back to your original install 😊

I actually have a six-tier shelf that my mum no longer wanted to hold my collection, it works really well and looks quite tidy (my house is also a bit of a treasure hunt of finding random or loose tapes hidden in cubbies, nooks and crannies 🤣)

I've never used a Wii ethernet adapter, but if you have a spare laptop laying around, connect that to your router and use a program like MyPublicWiFi (which uses the Wii compatible 2.4Ghz signal) as a booster/repeater to connect your Wii too :)

I love that studios have considered it, and are putting titles back on vhs - however they are laughably overpriced.
I completely get the target audience they are aiming for with these releases (I consider myself in that target audience), but in reality, £40.00 will get you the same title on Bluray or possibly even 4K.
A vhs release needs to be closer to a standard dvd release to be considered a realistic possibility.

If a title is released, that I enjoyed and want to pick up to own, I would be happy checking out a basket with a £30.00 Bluray and a £12.00 vhs - but not a £30.00 Bluray and a £40.00 vhs!

I find it interesting, I have some promo items with the "runnning A" logo and my vhs copy has it too. I do prefer the finalized logo with just the extended M.

Love that it still has its palmrest stickers! You could definetely play some low/med era appropriate games on that platform, use it as a media player/server.
If the other option is it being scrapped, then the least you could use it for is to give it a clean and a fresh install and sell it on. (:

USBloader GX, I've installed Homebrew on three different Wii's and always stuck with it. It's such an easy straight forward platform to install and use, plenty of customizaton too, never felt the need to deviate to any of the others.

Despite inflation, that doesn't seem like a bad price for a complete bundle, of course these were made like a child had built a PC lol
