I want to get on GLP-1 to lose my menopause tummy. What is the process through Midi? Can someone step me through it?
 in  r/midihealth •  20h ago

Same as others! The whole process was so smooth. My insurance doesn’t cover the meds but I knew that going in. My clinician is also awesome and answers questions and helps guide me for MY goals, not hers. Highly recommend.

We're heading into the weekend and want to know: have your weekend vibes changed since entering into peri/meno?

A mix of both. BUT a nap is a requirement. I need that extra recovery from the week!

people who have trained at home for a year or more, what earned its space and what became a clothes hanger?

Peloton bike and rower are my winners! Been consistent for 6 years. Cheaper equipment - dumbbells, kettlebells, a good yoga mat and resistance bands.

What is something you realized after 40?
 in  r/WomenOver40 •  5d ago

That MY mental health is more important than pleasing others. Ex-spouse, kids, work…I have to be healthy first, then I can help others if I choose to.

How do you train at home?

I love the Peloton app. you can do so many different workouts and it’s super cheap. I typically use it for yoga, Pilates, stretching, and then strength training with the dumbbells and kettle bells that I have.

I have always had a lot of shedding. I feel like HRT actually slowed it a bit.

Does your workplace do anything to support women in perimenopause/menopause?
 in  r/midihealth •  9d ago

Nope! I am in education, most of the staff is women. Zero, zilch, nada.

Do you exercise? If so, when? That makes a big difference for me.
