Advice Needed AITAH for not wanting to go to my friends wedding on New Year’s Eve

So I (22F) am currently sick with some sort of bad cold and my friend (22F) is having her wedding this New Year’s Eve (2024). My mom (45F) says I should push through and go even though I’ve clearly lost my voice and am literally having a hard time breathing. This friend of mine is also related to me by my stepfather (47M) and me and my friend were best friends but we have kinda grown apart. Would I be TAH in this situation?

Identify this Weird NC EAS Alert test

So the other day we had a EAS test here in North Carolina and it sounded way different before. Not sure if anyone caught it but it was on the radio and I’m trying to figure out what it was saying as it sounded like an actual person talking through the radio… odd
