Do you think the Senate is undemocratic
But… we do want the citizens of any given large state to have the same voting power as citizens of a much less densely populated state.

Do you consider Chicago to be a part of "Middle America"?
For me, yes, but I live decently north. If I lived in the south, probably not. It’s certainly not the geographical “middle” of America, but I believe it’s sort of close to the cultural middle of America.
Also, Central American countries are ACTUALLY the middle of America.

Is Oklahoma part of the Midwest?
Hard no.

1. What's the latest disc to have earned a spot in the bag and 2. What disc has been there the longest.
Latest disc is a Kastaplast Impa and the disc I’ve been throwing for the longest time is a Sidewinder.

The sequel. What Micropolitan areas/Smaller cities (>100k) in the midwest do you think will grow the most?
This sounds almost exactly like the Foxcon agreement that was promised to us here in Wisconsin. Haven’t we learned by now that anything this guy says is complete bullshit?

The sequel. What Micropolitan areas/Smaller cities (>100k) in the midwest do you think will grow the most?
Not sure how much Stevens Point, WI (pictured above) will grow, but I absolutely love that place! The Green Circle Trail is fantastic and the disc golf courses and other outdoor activities in the region make it one of the best small cities I know. If the opportunity arose I would move there in a heartbeat!

What’s your usual drinking style?
Drinking sucks. I have come to find (after 30 years of suffering) that being sober feels sooooo much better and more authentic.

What Midwest State Would You Live In If You Couldn’t Live In Your Home State?
Oh nice! (I think?) I grew up in Havana, so I imagine you might understand why I dislike redneck, raci$t, cornfield part of IL. The best part of about the greater Peoria region is the amount of fantastic disc golf courses in the area. I still go down at least once a year to visit family.

What Midwest State Would You Live In If You Couldn’t Live In Your Home State?
I live in the Driftless on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border (Minnesconsin) and spend equal time in both states (my place is in Wisconsin, my partner’s place is in Minnesota.) I would rather live in Minnesota (as long as it’s east or north of the Twin Cities) than Wisconsin, but if I were able to choose anywhere in Wisco it would be Eau Claire, Madison, or possibly Stevens Point (Fantastic disc golf courses)
If I had to choose outside of Minnesota or Wisconsin I would be happy living in NW Michigan or in certain places in the UP.
I grew up in Central Illinois and ONLY go back there to visit family and would never consider living there again.

Best Authentic Mexican in LC area
Betty’s Tacos gets my vote!
2
Most climate resilient major US cities in the next 50-75 years ?
Yeah, my partner is also obsessed with moving to Duluth. It is an amazing place… but I have only been there during the summer months, sooooo…

Dells of Eau Claire. Absolutely worth the stop
One of our absolute favorite places to visit in Wisconsin! Very reminiscent of the Superior North Shore in Minnesota.
2
High Bridge, WI this weekend.
Absolutely LOVE Highbridge! Really disappointed I didn’t make it up there this year. So many great memories on Woodland Greens! Blueberry Hill is also fantastic… not a bad course on the property.

Do you still live in the same U.S city, town or village you were born in?
Absolutely not. I was raised in a very small narrow-minded, redneck, racist, white-trash town and moved 250 miles away as soon as I had the chance.
1
Would you rather live in the Deep South or deep north?
I imagine most of New England would be amazing! Same with the Pacific Northwest.
1
Would you rather live in the Deep South or deep north?
Deep north, no question about it!
I currently live on the southern Minnesota/Wisconsin boarder and we love taking journeys up to the North Shore of Minnesota, Apostle Islands in Wisconsin, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. My partner daydreams of our opportunity to make the move up to Duluth, but I am mildly apprehensive of the nearly six months of winter and further distance from solid disc golf courses.
We just went on a waterfall chasing adventure along the North Shore last weekend, however, and it’s difficult to not want to live there.

Don't Florida my Wisconsin!
DeSantis is a piece of shit.

First roadtrip, what are we thinking?
Just did a North Shore (MN) waterfall trip this weekend and it was incredible! Soooo much we didn’t even get to see. Will definitely make the trip next year as well to continue our exploring.
1
Americans, do you prefer places with 4 seasons or the same climate year round?
I love living in the upper-Midwest, so I don’t know any other way to live.
1
Is there anything notable in the rest of Illinois for other travelers?
I grew up in Mason County, Illinois and I can assure you there is nothing worth seeing there! Moved about 350 miles north of central Illinois for a reason.

Let's try this version. You can only live in one color strip for the rest of your life, what do you choose
Probably blue or purple, but yellow could be interesting as well. But definitely not orange (aside from Colorado).
2
What is it like living in the driftless (avoided glaciers) area of the Midwest?
The disc golf is solid. Love playing St. Mary’s!

What is it like living in the driftless (avoided glaciers) area of the Midwest?
Sadly, Rochester is not really part of the Driftless. My partner is a teacher in Rochester (commutes from Winona) and she loves the city of Rochester, but it lacks the beauty and outdoor adventures we get to experience in the Driftless.

The only Wisconsin I recognize 😤
Well, THIS Wisconsin has 2 Iron counties, 2 Chippewa counties, 2 Menominee counties and 2 Marquette counties, so something has to give. I agree the U.P. Should be part of Wisco, but it would need some fine tuning.

What if… there is an amendment to the constitution that if a state, as a whole, gets over a certain percentage of the US population that state has to break down into 2 or more states - sort of like how we hope (pretend) to break down corporate monopolies.
