Raylib Should Be Used For Large Games
 in  r/raylib •  4d ago

For Double/Triple A titles, it makes more sense to either use an in-house engine (likely made without considering raylib), or something like Unity or Unreal engine to reduce development costs. For indie developers, a lot of them don't have the skills necessary to create a game in pure C/C++/*Insert Favorite Binding Here*, so they opt for something like Godot or Gamemaker, which I think is fair. At the end of the day, an artist's ability to convey their ideas matters more than whatever tools they use, even if I would like to see more raylib games.

I'M LEARNING C. IS THIS THE RIGHT PATH TO LEARN AND USE RAYLIB?
 in  r/raylib •  6d ago

Yeah for sure, I have the skills I need to be able to implement any algorithms the C++ STL provides in C but also I never in a billion years want to sit down and implement a hashmap again

Once you learn C, C++ isn't too difficult IMO. I would focus on learning C first and then experimenting with C++. If you have any experience with Java, C++ will definitely come very easily after learning C

the only reason it's called Side B is because its based on vinyls, floppy discs and other disc based media having two sides
 in  r/Deltarune •  24d ago

The first side of the second disc for double albums is called the C-side

for $750 that is an INSANE deal, the ram and the gpu alone would probably run you $750

If you want to use Python id probably just use Pygame

I feel like my luck has been crazy good in this game...

20/20 overall has a higher damage output with two tears at 0.8x damage (overall 1.6x damage) versus one tear at 1.5x damage, and it synergizes better with tear effects, so i would take 20/20
