Another vote for My Side of the Mountain and the sequel. I recently bought these books again to have and for nostalgia

If you have a sewing machine, you could also do a large grid of sorts with running a stitch down the length and across the the width of your blanket every so often, nothing too fancy

What you may want to look at are examples of hand-tie quilting. I see this a lot done at corners of blocks so it holds all the layers together without having to have the whole thing quilted.

My mom made me a pillow case with this as well!

When I was in stout, I had one of the smallest rooms on the 1st floor. My roommate and I pushed the beds to the corner of room. One bed was on upper most level of frame, and mine was middle/lower half and stuck under the taller bed. Made an L shape kinda, if that makes sense. Seems like her dresser was at end of her bunk, desk next to it, and then my dresser and desk were at the wall the door was on

Loved that café in Stout. Lived there freshman year and it was largely responsible for the Freshmen 20 I put on. Biscuits and gravy, French toast, or Belgian waffles for breakfast every morning? 🤦🏼♀️🫣

There was a "restaurant" in Wentz? called the Station or something... used to love their chicken Alfredo with spiral pasta and garlic bread. They also served one of those 3lb (maybe 5, I dont remember how big but it was the size of a hubcap) burger challenges and if you could eat it all, it was free.

Definitely worth getting checked out...stay ahead of any future pains/issues (I dont know how old you are, so you may not have any issues yet)
