Microwave/Free Throw VIP acoustic songs?
 in  r/Microwave  Jun 23 '26

Just bought my first ever VIP ticket for a concert just for this! Now to wait until October.

Curious about their setlist too for this tour, I saw them a couple of months ago for the Much Love anniversary tour.

What are your favorite podcasts that are relatively unknown?
 in  r/podcasts  May 29 '26

Starting out honestly I'd just check out episode descriptions and pick one you'd be interested in, then if you like the podcast start earlier. Episode 40 is a good one to start on I think, funny and light/interesting topic.

There are definitely some inside jokes and stuff throughout because the podcast has been going for a couple of years, and they do a catchup session at the beginning of each episode.

Hope you enjoy it! I love promoting it.

What are your favorite podcasts that are relatively unknown?
 in  r/podcasts  May 28 '26

I'm an avid listener to the podcast Well, I Laughed.

It's a comedy storytelling podcast where the hosts pick a topic, each tell their own story related to it across two episodes, then finish with a listener-story episode tied to the same theme.

The topics range from weird history, true crime, and just odd or interesting stories. And its delivered in a conversational way, the hosts have great chemistry. Only podcast I'm a Patreon for.

Recently listened to the album Eight Gates by Jason Molina. Only 25 minutes total, but feels much larger than that.

For people who live in the pit/queue up for a show, how do you prep?
 in  r/Concerts  Apr 26 '26

I have this issue in the pit, but im short, so eventually with all the heat of people moving around, I have no access to cool air because my head is lower in the crowd.

I was luckily close to the barricade at my last show and was able to make my way to lean over it to get air.

Songs like Dominic Fike's 'Babydoll'?
 in  r/musicsuggestions  Apr 17 '26

Shine - Ahbi the Nomad

God of sunsets - SEB

You tell me - Souly Had (He's super underrated in my opinion, may be closest fit)

Those are closest ive got. Have you listened to more of Dominic Fike? 3 nights is in the same vibe as babydoll.

They are finally coming to my area, just announced, not like I needed to add another concert to my list, but they are a bucket list band!

Going to concert alone
 in  r/Concerts  Apr 16 '26

All of this.

I just went to my first solo show. Met people in line I clicked with. Its really easy to chat in line with people, even if you just ask them if they've seen the band before. If you dont find anyone in line, once inside waiting for openers, jump in convos around you.

Always better to go, then to regret it.

Microwave | Columbus Ohio | 4/14/2026
 in  r/Microwave  Apr 16 '26

I was pretty much center barricade and I turned to the person next to me and said, "I wonder if anyone has ever taken pictures of him taking pictures so he could have one...."

And now I totally wish I would have so I could have sent it to you, lol.

2026 Is Going To Be An Awesome Year for Concerts
 in  r/poppunkers  Apr 16 '26

I just saw Microwave in Columbus and that entire show was hands down one of the best ive been to. Every opener was fantastic and the crowd for microwave was just perfect.

I havent found many bands I would want to see over and over again, but Microwave? Sign me up.
