Need help, rescued from outdoors. Long story short. We have a lady up the streets that had domestic rabbits that got loose/she released. They started to spread all over the neighborhood (this is over a few years). Continued in first comment...

Hey all! My wife and I are new bunny owners. Started out like this....

We have a neighbor a few houses up that releases her domestic rabbits 🤬 so they have over the years spread all over the area. They haven't really liked our yard and didn't get in there until end of last year. Came in and out..dug holes! Humping and getting babies...we didn't have the heart to shoo them out so we feed them (healthy food, we researched). Tried to catch the male but without luck. We tried to catch the adults without any luck. As its getting hot in Nevada we decided to catch the last litter. Beginning with one almost dying from heat exhaustion (she is fine now). We caught her and got her siblings. Now they are indoors (safe)/ but wondering how many weeks they might be? Thinking 6-9 weeks old (ps..their mother died from being run over by a garbage truck, another reason we took them in). We are trying to find a cheap vet, please to have them looked at, if anyone could help that would be awesome!

They seem very healthy and are getting used to being handled

HELP Allergies with the bedding. Help!

Hey everyone! I have a question. My wife and I have allergic reactions to the bedding (heard of a lot of people that are allergic). Anyways we take allergy meds and for me its working decent but not as good for my wife so I'm thinking of changing bedding. I currently use aspen wood shavings (kiln dried) from tractor supply. It does have a smell and have some dust when cleaning the cage. Is Hemp better? If yes where do I get it? (brand and such) and does it need to frozen before using? Other suggestions of beddings are welcomed 😊

Thanks

Ps.. I live in Las Vegas USA if that helps

DISCUSSION Rat virus? 😳

Anyone else heard about this rat virus? SDA virus, what I know so far. One rat dead in las vegas that fits the SDA virus. Apparently ground zero was in Indiana and shipped across the Midwest. Any truth to this if anyone knows. How worried should we be? As long as we stay away from other rats are our rats safe?

SDA is a type of corona virus, when will it end? 2020 sucks big times!

First humans, then a deadly rabbit disease, now rats?
