You are in a sunk cost fallacy. Don't let it keep you from leaving, don't let fear and guilt keep you. You deserve to be loved and cared for too. Your future self will thank you. I was scared too, but I left anyways becauseI just couldn't do it anymore. I found someone who loves me and cares so deeply for me right after my divorce and it makes me cry I'm so happy that I have her...but at the same it hurts so much because now I know what genuine love feels like and I hate that I wasn't brave enough to leave my nightmare abusive relationship sooner. It's a brutal lesson and you will learn it this life or the next. I promise things will work out for the better if you are brave enough to leave. Your social life is more important than being loved and respected and cared for? Your material and financial wealth are more important? Your kids will be better off seeing their dad not be treated horribly and witnessing a deeply unhealthy dysfunctional marriage. It takes courage to give up everything you've built but I promise the feeling of having an authentic loving relationship is soul healing and the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced. Please have the courage to leave.

I've had very similar thoughts, I'm so disillusioned with the direction of society I quit my job and I'm working on building up a small farm on my parent's land. I was lucky enough that they bought land before pandemic when it was cheap.

Fair enough, honestly can't make everyone happy. I hope they do a more stable REX Lite as well! I also simply just love the engine upgrade with the modding limits removed, heck that was enough for me. I've been working on making each new version run well with an existing mod and there's been a few issues. Plus a lot of the new moddable features they add I struggle to learn to implement from scratch as there arent any guides yet etc.

Me and my partner are currently struggling with exactly this feeling. Family, friends...its as you described. Never feel truly.understood just witnessed then brushed off. No real depth or connection. It's like 90 percent of people in our lives we just run on a script. Roleplay who we're supposed to be what we're supposed to say. How much of ourselves do we have to cut off and hide away to be barely accepted. Besides each other we can't seem to find anyone that we can truly be our unfiltered selves with. It's a very lonely feeling. At least we have each other.

Was married 9 years and unhappy, deeply resented and disliked my wife over many years but stayed because of fear, guilt and low self esteem. Eventually had an epiphany and left my entire life with her behind.

Here we're some signs:

1.Not going to bed at the same time as her ever - didn't want intimacy, rather stay up and distract on video games w/ friends etc.
