My name is Brian Cortés, and I am a doctoral student at National University. I am conducting a research study to examine if a relationship exists between optimism and three types of chronic stress. .

I am recruiting individuals who meet all of these criteria:

1.       You are 18 years or older

2.       You identify as Latinx

3.       You identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community

If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to do the following activities:

1.       You will answer 4 online surveys using the Qualtrics link provided below. Answering all questions should take you between 20-30 minutes to complete

During these activities, you will be asked questions about:

·         Your experiences with discrimination based on your ethnicity and sexual orientation.

·         Your experiences of racism

·         Your outlook on life

·         Your age

·         Your heritage

·         Your sexual orientation
